Would book Jon Snow be more pragmatic
I was doing some light research on Jon Snow and I heard he more pragmatic in the books compare to the show. So I got some questions..
\- would book Jon Snow just bent the knee to Danerys Targaryen? Or would he have found a different compromise since he did needed her supports (well dragons mostly)
\- I get that Danerys went off to rescue him and lost one of her dragons in the process.. so Jon like hey this woman risk her dragon and life for me. This prove that this is someone I can trust (also she hot) so I should bend the knee.
\- thst remind me.. even if he bend, why was he strangely defensive of her and still be cautious of her (yeah I know love).. like his siblings and later others like Tyrion and Varys were like “hey this girl is a bit out of mind.. u can’t trust her” and Jon like “no I trust her and I love her.. she grieving.. I know I can contain her”
Well until Dany flat out told him “I’m not gonna stop until the world burn “ than knife to her back.
Like would book Jon Snow be more pragmatic and cautious toward Dany whether he bent the knee or not? He not gonna be like now that I swear fealty to you,l Itrust you and will give excuse for her more dubious actions.
Beside how long did they spent time together? A month?

Reading the GoT Books (Finally)
After years of wanting to, I am now getting around to starting to read the books. I am beginning with Fire & Blood, with the goal to read in chronological order. I've watched all of the series to date, but never picked up the books. Do you recommend reading in chronological order or in a different manner?

Wish we got more scenes of him being a king and leading. Wish he showed more interest in ruling not for power but because he always wanted to do what was right now matter the cost. Wish he at least just fought the night king and wish they didn’t massacre his character

Instances where characters seemingly forget the world they live in
Doing a rewatch because I miss feeling miserable and I’m at S7E5 with Dany sentencing the Tarly’s to death by dragon. It has always bothered me that Tyrion behaves like this is such a crazy notion to him, to execute a combatant general who refuses to bend the knee.
But there are… COUNTLESS instances of characters just forgetting what world they live in and it’s infuriating to know how stupid D&D thought their audience was.
Samwell showing up at Horn Hill and then The Citadel with a full ass family in tow after having taken his Night’s Watch vows. He works all day scrubbing toilets and then just goes home to his little apartment with Gilly and Little Sam?
Yara doesn’t know what the fuck a King’s Moot is?
Also, I understand that by S6 they didn’t give a fuck and needed to Crash Bandicoot to the finish but it’s such bad storytelling the way they start knocking characters off the board and inserting others where they have no right to be.
Ramsay takes the risk of murdering his father and weakening his house on the off chance that he, what, waits 13-20 years to usurp Ramsay’s position as his heir for the newborn?
The random penny slaver who buys Tyrion and Jorah is now representing 1/3 of the slave cities of Essos?
So bad. so so so so so so bad

Has anyone noticed at 2:50 in Rains of Castamere, when robb is seeking advice from Catelyn about attacking casterly rocks, there is a creepy sound in the background “do it do it” no idea if it was intentional or just a glitch
