If Jon accepted Stannis's offer and became Jon Stark, how would he rest of the series have played out?

Do you think Ned would have ended up as Lord Commander if he made it to the wall?

Imo his biggest blunder was becoming a religious extremist and burning not just The Seven but also weirwoods of The Old Gods. Otherwise he could have allied with Robb's armies from The North and The Riverlands. Burning their Gods alienated potential vassals from supporting him.

Robb’s downfall is perhaps the greatest tragedy of the story

Robert's first kill.
In the show , there is this scene King Robert, Ser Barristan Selmy and Ser Jaime Lannister discuss their first kills.
Robert's first kill sounds awfully similar to him killing Rhaegar Targaryen,
His horse was wounded in both tales, there was mud all around making it hard to walk, and he killed both of them by caving in their chestplate with 1 swing of his warhammer.
Do you think this to be an easter egg or an undertone to how Robert doesn't even remember his kills? Perhaps from the 17-year long alcohol abuse or smt?

Game of Thrones - War Stories
King Robert, Ser Barristan Selmy and Ser Jaime Lannister sharing war stories. One of my favorite scenes in the show.

what was neds motivation to not tell robert? was he scared he would assasinate jofrey?
