In TWRP
1. Wipe > format data > type 'yes'
2. Wipe > Advanced wipe > select Dalvik, data, cache
3. Install > select img file as 'System Image' and swipe
(Note -  Extract  .img.xz    to    .img
Using winrar or 7zip in pc
OR extract in mobile by @mtmanager app)

If you properly followed above steps still Gsi is not installating

FIXES:


- Media Volume Control:
Go to Settings > Phh Treble Settings > Samsung features > Unmark "Use alternate audio policy". (Then probably restart the phone)
It's probably this bug has been fixed in updated versions of GSI ROMs (since my last check)

OPTIONAL: Use/install Viper4Android Reverse Engineered, you can adjust the speaker volume perfectly.

Fixes for some Minor bugs :

Go to settings> Phh treble settings
1. Samsung features >
- enable double tap to wake,
- Set flash strength to 5

2. Misc features >
- Force Always on display
- Bluetooth workarounds - select mediatek
- Use System wide bt hal


- Headphones not detecting:
Go to Settings > Phh Treble Settings > Misc Features > Enable "Force-disable A2DP offload"
Then using Termux (or any Terminal), grant root access by entering "su" command and then copy and paste the next command and enter.

setprop persist.sys.overlay.devinputjack true

Then restart the device and now the headphones will be detected.
Note: Don't mark "Use alternate way to detect headsets" in Misc Features, it will break it's behavior.

- Bluetooth Audio / Wireless Headsets: If your device play music/media on Wireless headset or BT Audio.
Go to Settings > Phh Treble Settings > Misc Features > Select "Bluetooth worksarounds" and choose in it "Mediatek", then enable "Use System Wide BT HAL" and the audio in wireless headsets will be working now.

- Camera lightsensor & notch status bar padding: GSI doesn't contain specific overlays, AOD, CameraLightSensor and Notch.

Use A22 GSI Overlay to get fix and flash it with Magisk

- Low Read/Write speed: It decreases reading and writing speed as we switch ROM with different libraries.
Flash Magisk module that improves read/write speed, for example SQLite.

A22 Overlay Fix for GSI ROMs

Notes:
Improves functionality of AOD, Camera Light Sensor (Auto-brightness) and notch padding with status bar.
Make sure to disable Force Allow AOD in phh settings or else AOD clock will not update.

Installation:
Flash it on Magisk and reboot device.
