I was always looking for change, but always bypassing the foundation for a meaningful shift begins with grounding (aka a regulated nervous system aka the ability to feel relaxed)

The first stage of healing is awareness. This awareness usually brings a certain inner emotional response, perhaps shock, perhaps sadness, perhaps anger. Awareness is the first stage of any healing process. Denial means that life continues and the wound remains hidden from consciousness. There are many wounds we receive when growing up that are pushed aside in order to cope with the external demands of life.
