πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ US Pre-Market: Mostly Negative πŸ“‰

The US stock market is showing a predominantly negative trend in pre-market trading, with pressure coming from the largest companies by market cap.

In the Information Technology sector, NVIDIA (NVDA) is up 6.36%, Apple (AAPL) is down 1.13%, while Microsoft (MSFT) is down 0.90%.
In the Communication Services sector, Alphabet (GOOGL) is down 0.41%.

In the Financials sector, Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.B) is down 0.82%, while Bank of America (BAC) is down 0.62%.

Overall, risk aversion is prevailing among major technology and financial stocks, indicating increased demand for safe-haven dollar assets and government bonds. In the short term, this creates conditions for moderate dollar strengthening through domestic reallocation of capital toward more conservative instruments.

Crypto has reached May’s max, aiming higher

The cryptocurrency market has risen by 0.75% over the past 24 hours to $2.68T, trading close to this week’s highs. Judging by intraday movements, the market is poised for further growth, as investors actively buy up local price dips. While the major cryptocurrencies have stabilised near their highs of recent months, buyer interest has shifted towards altcoins. Over the past day, the top gainers were Official Trump (+27%), Uniswap (+6.7%) and Solana (+6.3%). The biggest fallers were SushiSwap and IOTA (both down 2.3%) and Immutable (down 1.8%).

The sentiment index continues to hover just below the extreme-greed threshold, a level we last saw consistently from May to August last year. Spikes in the indicator in January and May were short-lived or failed to sustain levels above the 50-mark. We are therefore observing an important confirmatory signal of a shift in sentiment from bearish to bullish.

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ US Pre-Market: Moderately Positive πŸ“ˆ

A moderately positive trend is prevailing in the US stock market pre-market.

In the Financials sector, JPMorgan Chase (JPM) is up 0.40%, while Bank of America (BAC) is up 0.29%.
In the Information Technology sector, Apple (AAPL) is up 0.51%, while NVIDIA (NVDA) is down 0.15%.

In the Health Care sector, Eli Lilly (LLY) is up 0.84%, while Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) is up 0.21%.

In the foreign exchange market, this is consistent with a risk-on environment: interest in higher-yielding assets is supporting demand for equities, while demand for the dollar as a safe-haven asset remains limited. In the short term, this sets a neutral-to-cautious backdrop for the US Dollar Index.
