Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
* Maintain daily attendance records for all company employees.
* Maintain daily attendance records for all contractor employees.
* Monitor manpower deployment department-wise.
* Prepare and submit daily attendance and manpower reports.
* Maintain leave, absenteeism, overtime, and statutory records.
* Coordinate recruitment, joining formalities, and employee documentation.
Contractor Management
* Verify contractor manpower on a daily basis.
* Ensure statutory compliance for all contract labor.
* Coordinate contractor mobilization and discipline.
* Maintain contractor attendance and performance records.
* Conduct induction and orientation for new contractor employees.
Housekeeping & Administration
* Plan and supervise daily housekeeping activities across the plant.
* Ensure cleanliness of offices, shop floors, control rooms, electrical rooms, roads, walkways, toilets, canteen, and common areas.
* Implement and sustain 5S practices.
* Coordinate waste collection and disposal.
* Ensure adequate availability of housekeeping manpower and materials.
Safety Coordination
* Ensure mandatory use of PPE by all employees and contractors.
* Conduct daily safety inspections during working hours.
* Organize toolbox talks before commencement of work.
* Monitor compliance for work permits, hot work, work at height, lifting operations, and confined space entry.
* Report unsafe acts and unsafe conditions immediately.
* Coordinate with the Safety Department to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Security & Employee Welfare
* Coordinate security for employee and visitor entry.
* Monitor visitor management and gate records.
* Ensure availability of drinking water, sanitation, and welfare facilities.
* Address employee grievances and coordinate welfare activities.
Reporting
Prepare and submit daily reports on:
* Company attendance
* Contractor attendance
* Manpower deployment
* Housekeeping status
* Safety observations
* PPE compliance
* Contractor performance
* Daily administrative activities
Qualification
* MBA (HR), MSW, PG Diploma in Human Resource Management, or equivalent qualification.
* Additional qualification in Industrial Safety will be an added advantage.
Experience
* Minimum 8–12 years of experience in HR & Administration.
* Experience in integrated steel plants, rolling mills, foundries, engineering, or heavy manufacturing industries is preferred.
* Experience in handling contract labor, housekeeping, industrial relations, and statutory compliance is essential.
Required Skills
