You will be responsible for applying Multibody Dynamics simulation techniques to support the design, development & testing of mechanical systems across wide range of products in Collins Aerospace. This role involves collaboration with other CAE specialists, design, test & manufacturing engineers to help in improving product reliability, performance & reducing the product cost.
What you’ll do:
✨ Perform kinematic and dynamic analysis on complex mechanical systems using Multibody Dynamics (MBD) technique preferably in MSC ADAMS.
✨ Develop high-fidelity multibody dynamic models of Nacelle Systems, Landing Gears, Flight Control Mechanisms, Door Systems, etc & correlate simulation models to physical test.
✨ Should possess good working knowledge of structural analysis and well experienced with related tools (MSc Nastran / Ansys / Abacus).
✨ Hands-on experience with simulation tools like MSc ADAMS, MSc Nastran, HyperMesh / MSc Patran / FEMap, Catia V5/V6.
✨ Generate reduced-order flex body models using FE software such as MSC Nastran or ANSYS and perform integration for flex body simulations.
✨ Perform MBD-Control co-simulation by Integrating MBD model with control model developed in MATLAB/Simulink environments
✨ Basic scripting experience (Python, MATLAB, or similar) for simulation automation and post-processing
