Job Description – Functional Safety Engineer (ISO 26262) | EV Domain
Experience: 5+ Years
Location: Bangalore

Responsibilities:
- Perform Functional Safety (FuSa) activities as per ISO 26262 across system, hardware, and software levels.
- Lead HARA, FSC, TSC, safety concept development, and safety validation for EV systems (BMS, Inverter, MCU, ECU, Powertrain).
- Work closely with system, HW, SW, and validation teams to ensure safety compliance.
- Support safety audits, assessments, and safety case creation.

Required Skills:
-Strong hands-on experience in ISO 26262 lifecycle
- Experience in EV / Automotive systems
- Knowledge of ASIL decomposition, FMEDA, FTA, DFA
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills

Good to Have:
- Experience with EV architectures and high-voltage systems
- Safety tools like Medini, ANSYS, or similar
