Subject -Urgent Appeal: Resolving the 4-Year Stagnation of JKSSB Forest Department Recruitments
The prolonged delay in completing the recruitment process for Forester, Social Forestry Worker, and Field Assistant posts (Advt. 2022) has pushed thousands of aspirants into a state of deep distress and uncertainty. Despite four years of dedicated preparation, the recruitment remains in limbo, leaving the youth of Jammu & Kashmir questioning the "Fast Track" recruitment claims.
Key Concerns & Demands:
Completion of 2022 Advertisements: We demand the immediate completion of the recruitment process for the 500+ posts advertised by JKSSB in 2022. It is disheartening that even after four years, these positions—including the critical Field Assistant roles—remain unfilled.
Addressing the "Grievance" Revelation: A recent grievance reply shockingly stated that the Forest Department has asked JKSSB not to proceed with the Field Assistant exam. This sudden U-turn has sparked widespread anger among aspirants who have invested their prime years into preparing for these specific roles.
Accountability for Delays: The lack of synergy between the Forest Department and JKSSB is evident. We urge the Administrative Department to intervene and rectify the "non-serious approach" of the Forest Department, which has failed to push for the completion of this process.
Curbing Unemployment through New Referrals: To combat the rising unemployment rate, the Forest Department must immediately refer all currently vacant posts—including Forest Guards, Forest Inspectors, and other technical staff—to JKSSB. Keeping these positions vacant while the youth remain jobless is a disservice to the UT's development.
Final Plea: We request the Administration to prioritize the future of the J&K youth. Clear the pending 2022 recruitment cycles immediately and initiate fresh drives for all vacant departmental posts to ensure justice and employment for all.
