Hugo wanted a daily profit target in his gold EA (PF 1.37 without it). We added 4 lines, entries untouched. In the MT5 tester at 1%, it hit on 33 days and skipped 12 trades, the day's best on 5 days: 8.01% left in winners, 3.72% avoided in losers. Net cost: 4.29%. At 2% and 3%: 5 and 3 days, saved 0.30% and 0.46%.

Your indicator's arrow shows a price. Does your EA get it?

Yara traded an EMA cross indicator's arrows by hand and asked for an EA to trade them. We built it on the indicator's buffers, closed bars only. On real gold ticks in the MT5 tester it saw 266 of 266 arrows, and 128 of its 191 fills came in worse than the arrow: median 8 points, worst 69.
