Omar's EA traded into NFP and held trades over weekends. We added a news filter and a weekly close set by gold's holiday table: weekends held open went from 42 to 0 in the MT5 tester, entries near a release from 14 to 0.

Trading NFP with two stop orders? Check how far they fill.

Kenji asked for two stop orders around NFP, one cancelling the other. On 20 releases, real ticks in the MT5 tester, the stops filled a median 171 points past their level, the worst 1,935. A stop limit 20 points behind the trigger never did, but filled on 11 of 20.
