having a channel gives the illusion of having a voice in this crowd. when one doesn't own any they feel like they lack a platform to share their voice, which forces them to acquire one.
creating a slop in this process where the majority of them becomes noise much rather any voice.

some of them are excellent voice, some just needs to stay shut.

yes, often times, social media drains everything out of me. i still use it though (for now) because i wanr to get drained. about addiction yeah, i feel rhe addiction but you can't do any one step solution for this, just notice it and slowly start erasing and rebelling against it.
afterall the whole point of being human is acting rebellious
