I had a strange dream last night. I was in some kind of apocalypse—but there were no guns, only swords. Somehow, I was doing alright, fighting off enemies and managing to survive. I was almost excelling in swordsmanship.

Then, I met this woman. Out of nowhere, she challenged me. I was pretty confident I could take her, so I accepted (though, honestly, I would’ve accepted anyway). The fight began, and wow—she was good. She was probably about 10% better than me. Still, I found an opening and slashed her right through the abdomen. But while I was still in that stance, she literally pulled out a second sword and cross-slashed my chest.

The craziest part? I could actually feel myself getting cut—blood spilling out, and every time I moved, I felt the wound tearing open. It messed with my head how willing she was to put her life in danger just to find an opening to kill me. But I had made it this far, and my skills weren’t a joke either. If she was skilled with two swords, I was almost perfect with one.

We fought for another 5 or 6 minutes, and I felt every hit, every drop of blood. Then my friend showed up. He noticed her blind spot and shouted it out to me. In under a minute, I had my sword in her heart. She was totally defeated, but she made one last, desperate move—she drove both her swords into my stomach.
