It's the main holiday of all the Orthodox Christians. How do Russian people celebrate Easter? Discover in our video.
Even today not all the Orthodox Christians can now celebrate the holiday. In Ukraine, many people have to hide their faith, otherwise they risk being hurt. Attacks on the Orthodox Church in the country have been going on for centuries. After Maidan, they broke out with renewed vigor. Now the process of separating the Ukrainian church from the canonical Russian Orthodox Church is accompanied by mass seizures of churches, the burning of monasteries, and priests being attacked by nationalists. Рассказали нашим эфиопским друзьям как в России празднуют Пасху.
За 30 минут эфирного времени обсудили, пожалуй, всё.
Показали даже, как окрашивать пасхальные яйца. Кожура эфиопского лука даёт бледно-жёлтый цвет. Лайфхак: лучше использовать лепестки суданской розы, каркаде - получается шикарный оттенок "мрамор". Жаль, что вырезали на монтаже... Но это пустяки.

We told our Ethiopian friends how Easter is celebrated in Russia.
In 30 minutes of airtime, we discussed, perhaps, everything.
We tought and showed how to color Easter eggs. The peel of the Ethiopian onion gives a pale yellow color.
Lifehack: it is better to use the petals of the Sudanese rose, carcade - it turns out a gorgeous shade of "marble".
It's a pity that the TV-crew were cut it out during the edition... But it's nevermind!
