Our new film, 'Youth United', is about how Russia unites thousands of people from all over the planet. Smart and talented young people, those willing to change the world, began travelling to the USSR in the 1950s. Now, this story continues—this time in the Russian Federation.
In 2024, 20 thousand delegates from 188 countries will come to the World Youth Festival in Sochi. Thanks to them, friendships between nations are forged and furthered, and the future of our present dreams is created before our eyes.
'We want to show that we have wonderful people, country, youth,' says Maxim Basharkin, one of the festival participants. Watch our new film 'Youth United' about this event.

🇪🇹🇬🇧 Ethiopia reportedly attempts to stop a UK auction of stolen colonial-era shield
In an effort to do so, the Ethiopian government has referred to the auction as "inappropriate and immoral," the media reported.
Furthermore, the committee reportedly requested that the auction house start the restitution procedure and send the item back to Ethiopia.
Although Anderson & Garland confirmed receipt of the letter, the organization refrained from offering any additional remarks, the Western media reported.

“Since the artifact has been wrongfully acquired in a context of a punitive expedition to Ethiopia in which these items were looted, the sale of this item in your auction is inappropriate,” the letter from the committee read, as cited by the media.
Furthermore, the committee reportedly requested that the auction house start the restitution procedure and send the item back to Ethiopia.
Although Anderson & Garland confirmed receipt of the letter, the organization refrained from offering any additional remarks, the Western media reported.

The Battle of Adwa, which culminated in defeating the colonial troops of Italy by Ethiopians 128 years ago, spear-headed anti-colonial resistance by Africans and the entire black people across the world.
