The Consequences Of Having Bad Thoughts About Allaah

"Having a good opinion of Allaah, 'Azza wa Jal, is one of the obligations of Tawheed. Having a bad opinion about Allaah, Subhaanahu wa Ta’aalaa, contravenes Tawheed, either the very foundation, or its perfection. The foundation is negated if bad opinion increases and persists. The perfection is negated if the bad opinion is something transient or modest which is not articulated, but if articulated, it negates Tawheed."

Da'watus-Salafiyyah doesn't raise any chumps, it doesn't raise sinners. It doesn't raise people who flirt with women, it doesn't raise people whose main concern is dunyaa. Those are people who have very little benefit from Da'watus-Salafiyyah. This Da'watus-Salafiyyah raises up righteous people, courageous people, so don't fear anything except Allaah, Subhaanahu wa Ta'aalaa."

A very important piece of timeless advice from the shaykh. You have people calling to do this and do that (including with the ongoing situation in Palestine, may Allaah help our brothers and sisters), but this is based upon their intellect and emotions, not authentic texts. If we want victory, it'll only be by returning to the Quraan and Sunnah and taking them as our guidance.

"Wa 'alaykum Salām wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh

This is a recently innovated matter in the religion of Allāh, which the salaf did not undertake as a way of standing by the persecuted believers, neither the companions nor their followers did it. Nonetheless it is legislated to make duā, qunūt, to frequently seek refuge with Allāh, and to aid them as much as possible."
