Ruling on making Sujood outside Ṣalāh for du'a to be answered = INNOVATION!
Forwarded from THE OFFICIAL ENGLISH CHANNEL OF SHEIKH 'ABDULHAMĪD IBN YAHYĀ AL-ZOUKORĪ (الجزاء من جنس العمل)
Question: Some people perform sujood outside of Ṣalāh and they supplicate in this sujood hoping that their du'a will be accepted. What's the ruling on doing this?
Sheikh Abdulhameed Az-Zu'kari ḥafidhahullāh: “It is not acceptable, unless it is a sujood of recitation (tilāwah), sujood of thankfulness (shukr), or sujood of the actual prayer (including the two prostrations of forgetfulness).”
Date: 7 Sha’bān 1445 H.

Al-Imaam Ibnul-Qayyim, may Allaah have mercy upon him:
"Gratitude from the general public pertains to being thankful for things like: food, drink, clothing, and the sustenance of their bodies. Gratitude from the close servants of Allaah, however, involves appreciation for things such as: monotheism, faith, and the sustenance of their hearts."

Allaah Will Make Things Easy For This Person
It is reported from Abuu Hurayrah, may Allaah be pleased with him, that the Prophet ﷺ said:

Do you owe missed Ramadhan fasts?
You have one whole year to make up any missed fasts from the previous Ramadhan; ample time! But when Sha’bān kicks in, the urgency to make them up reaches its peak.
Sheikh ’Abdulkhāliq Al-’Imād said:
“Whoever owes a fast from Ramadhan and has not made it up, let them hasten to make up for it.
If they only have as many missed days left for Ramadhan, they must fast the missed days immediately and it is not permissible for them to delay them.
As for the ḥadīth:
((إذا انتصف شعبان فلا تصوموا))
“When it is the middle of Sha’ban, then do not fast,” this is a weak ḥadīth.”

Barakah lies in simplicity
(( أَعْظَمُ النِّساءِ بَرَكَةً أَيْسَرُهُنَّ مؤْنَةً))
“The women who have the most blessings are those who are the easiest to look after.”
[Collected by Ahmad in his 'Musnad' (no. 25120), an-Nasaai'ee in "As-sunan al-Kubra" (no. 9274) from the hadeeth of 'Aishah, radiyAllāhu'anha].
For this reason it is necessary upon the woman, her father and mother to make their goal with regards to marriage to make things easy and not difficult, to keep things humble and simple.

A Story Of A Porn Addict
“My brothers and sisters, I started watching porn at the age of 12. It was introduced to me by a relative. They showed me porn when I was 12 years old. Since then, I would smuggle it from their room and would watch it alone. For a good 5 years my love for porn continued to increase. I went and registered my name to a movie seller, who used to bring the latest porn in the market. At one go, I would buy 12 DVDs and I would watch from morning to night, nonstop. Slowly, I started to masturbate as early as 18. And I was already exposed to bad women. By the age of 20, I already had my first sex with a prostitute. I wasn't lucky, I caught STD. And I was under isolation for a long time before I fully recovered. I almost lost my penis. Even after my recovery, I continued to watch porn. Slowly I began to experience the following:
▪️My eyesight started to deteriorate. My vision became very weak. At the age of 22, I had to wear glasses. And a times my eyes kept releasing milky liquid-like tears.
▪️I used to memorize the Quran. In fact I memorized more than half of it. But within no time, I lost everything.
▪️My memory started to decrease. I used to be bright and intelligent in class, but I became stupid. My thoughts were crazy and corrupted
▪️At the age of 26 - 28 my mental health was touched. Because I became unintelligent like a baby. Simply instruction I could not understand.
▪️I got married by 30 years. Even after marriage, with my wife, but I still watch porn and masturbated. Slowly I started to lose my manhood. My penis can’t stand for good 2 mins.
▪️I lost my Imaan. I did not have any fear of Allah. I used to miss my salah. I became very prone to violence and crimes. Sin became normal. I lost everything.
▪️My wife left me. She said I m mentally unstable. That's true. Because I used to hallucinate sometimes. It is a sign of a mental disorder.
▪️I’m still addicted. I repented a million times, but after 1 month or so, I returned back to my porn addiction.
▪️I’m sharing my story with you the Muslims because I don’t want you to fall victims like me. I’m regretting every second of my life. And I will never forgive my relative who introduced me to pornography.
If you are already watching porn, then stop, else, you cannot reverse the damage it will do to you. if you have not started watching, then don’t try. It is more addictive than cocaine and Heroin. I quit smoking and drugs easily, but I still can't quit porn. if you are a Muslim and you believe in Allah, please pray for me, may Allah change me to a better person. May Allah cleanse my soul.
As I’m crying writing this, I hope you will look at my condition and take a lesson;
السَّعِيدُ مَنِ اتَّعَظَ بِغِيْرِهِ
Prosperous is he who learns from other people's mistakes
May Allāh forgive us, protect us, our offspring, the Ummah & humanity at large from this disease. Ameen.”
