An Advice Every Muslim Needs To Pay Attention To, Especially Right Now
Ash-Shaykh Muqbil Al-Waadi'ee, may Allaah have mercy upon him:
"We are living in a time of fitan (trials and tribulations), and no one denies this except one whom Allaah has blinded his insight. So it is upon us, O Muslims, if we wish for safety (in our religion), to return back to that which our 'ulamaa (scholars) were upon from amongst those who have passed on, such as the Sahaabah (companions of the Prophet ﷺ) and the Taabi'een (those who followed them in righteousness). May Allaah be pleased with them all."

Beware of this false belief O Muslims!
The Heart Is In Partnership With The Inner Self (An-Nafs)
Al-Imaam Ibnul-Qayyim, may Allaah have mercy upon him:
"The heart is in partnership with the nafs (inner self) in evil and good, punishment and reward, praise and condemnation. Indeed, the nafs is intrinsically rebellious in nature, always seeking to break out of its condition of slavery to Allaah and inclined to ignore the rights of Allaah as well as the rights of mankind. Nevertheless, the heart follows and submits to the nafs whenever it is dominant and strong, and conversely, the nafs follows and submits to the heart whenever the latter is dominant and strong."

🎉 *Ruling on Joining Celebrations of Disbelievers like Christmas or Halloween and Congratulating Them on Those Occasions* 🎊
It is not permissible to join the Christians in their celebration even if those who claim knowledge join them, because this increases their numbers and is a kind of support to them in sin and transgression.
Allah (Exalted be He) says (what means):
*وَتَعَاوَنُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلْبِرِّ وَٱلتَّقْوَىٰۖ وَلَا تَعَاوَنُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلْإِثْمِ وَٱلْعُدْوَٰنِۚ*
✨"Help you one another in Al-Birr and At-Taqwâ (virtue, righteousness and piety); but do not help one another in sin and transgression." [Al-Ma'idah, 5:2]

Ash-Shaykh al-Uthaymeen, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:
“Congratulating the kufaar for the holiday of Christmas or other than it of their holidays is haraam based upon the consensus of the scholars, as has been quoted by Ibnul Qayyim, may Allah have mercy upon him, in the book ‘Ahkaam Ahlil Dhimmah’,…it is as if he is congratulating him for his prostration to the cross…”
Ash-Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzan, may Allah preserve him said:
“…The Christians innovated this birthday and other than it into their religion, while the Prophet Esaa, alayhi as-salaam, did not legislate for them to celebrate his birthday rather they just merely innovated it…”
A Reply to a Doubt
There are some who claim that if the Christians congratulate the Muslims for their Islamic celebrations then it is upon the Muslims to congratulate them back during their celebrations, which is totally wrong and incorrect because congratulating them upon that is actually congratulating them upon their falsehood, rather Islam calls to opposing the kufaar in that.
A Side Benefit:
Ash-Shaykh Yahya al-Hajooree, may Allah preserve him, said:
“For the Nasaara (i.e. the Christians) is their own calendar; called the christian calendar (i.e. the western calendar), they began the year upon the birthday of the Prophet Esaa, as they claim and they refer to it as the Christian year, while the Persians have their own calendar (i.e. the Jalaali Calendar) and the Roman have their own calendar (i.e. the Julian calendar)…”

WHAT TO SAY AFTER THE RECITATION OF THE QURAN
Sheikh ʿAbdul-ʿAzīz ibn Bāz said:
[Majmūʿ al-Fatāwá 24/410]
Aaishah - may Allāh be pleased with her - mentioned that:
The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ was never in a sitting, never recited the Qur'ān, nor did he ever offer a prayer, except that he ended them all with certain words.
She added:
''So I said to him, O Messenger of Allaah, I noticed that you never are in a sitting, nor do you ever recite the Quraan, nor observe a Salaat, except that you end off with these words''.
He replied by saying, ''Yes''.
''Whoever has said good (words) would have them placed as a seal over the good he has done and whoever has said evil (words) would have them used as an expiation for the evil he uttered''.
(They are):
Unfortunately, these days the majority of the people (except those Allaah blesses) have abandoned this Sunnah (either due to ignorance of it or due to forgetfulness).
After reciting the Quran, they replaced this sunnah with:
Sadaqallaahul adheem or kissing the Quraan.
Thus, it is incumbent upon us to spread this sunnah so it can be established once again.
Imām An-Nasā'ee named the chapter of this hadeeth in his book as "What to conclude the recitation of the Qur'ān with."
Its isnaad is authentic as explained by An-Nasā'ee in "As-Sunan Al-Kubrā".
Ibn Hajar also mentioned in "An-Nukat" (733/2) that its chain of narration is authentic.
Al-Albānī equally said in "Silsilat As-Saheehah" (495/7) that "this is also an authentic chain that conforms with the conditions of Imām Muslim."
Sheikh Muqbil Al-Wādi’ee mentioned in "Al-Jāmi’ As-Saheeh Mimmaa Laysa Fi As-Saheehayn" (128/2) that "this is an authentic narration"

An Abandoned Sunnah after Reciting the Qur'ān
It is preferred on finishing the recitation of the Qur'ān to say:
سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ، أشهد أن لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ، أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ

The Mercy Of Imaam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal
May Allaah Have Mercy Upon Him
Al-Imaam Ibnul-Jawzee, may Allaah have mercy upon him, mentions:
When Imaam Ahmad was taken to Al-Mu’tasim, the caliph, to receive the torment, it was said to him: "Pray against the one oppressing you!" Imaam Ahmad replied: “He is not patient (saabir), the one who prays against one oppressing him.”
Imaam Ahmad was taken in the month of Ramadhaan and lashed whilst he was fasting until he fainted. When he gained consciousness a man said to him: “We threw you on your face, laid a mat over you and walked all over you.” Imaam Ahmad said: “I didn’t feel anything.”
They then brought Imaam Ahmad something to drink and said: “Drink this and vomit.” He said: “I wouldn’t break my fast.”
They then took him to the officer’s house and time for Dhuhr came. After they had prayed, a person turned to Imaam Ahmad and said: “You prayed while blood is dripping from your clothes!” Imaam Ahmad replied: “'Umar prayed whilst his wound poured out blood.”
Furan, the student of Imaam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal once informed him of Fadl Al-Anmati: “Fadl said to me: ‘I would not forgive the one who ordered my lashing until I say that the Quraan is created; nor would I forgive the one who lashed me, nor those who were happy over this from those who attended the lashing and those who were absent from the Jahmis!” Imaam Ahmad said in reply: “But I have forgiven Al-Mu’tasim (the caliph), the one who lashed me, and all those who were present or absent. I thought that none should be punished (in the Hereafter) on my account.”
