بهمحض افتادن در چاه، انگار خاموش شدم. هیچ فکری نداشتم و تقلایی نکردم. چشمانم را بستم و حس کردم که به اعماق فرو میروم، بیآنکه فشاری بر تنم احساس کنم!
نفسم را حبس کرده بودم، تقریباً یک دقیقه گذشت. چشمانم را باز کردم و به بالا نگاه کردم؛ فاصله زیاد بود، اما همچنان فرو میرفتم. دیگر نمیتوانستم نفسم را نگه دارم. ترس بر من غلبه کرد و شروع به دستوپا زدن کردم، اما هرچه تلاش میکردم، سریعتر فرو میرفتم!
دیگر طاقتم تمام شد. یعنی این پایان من است؟ گفتم: "خدایا! تو تنها کسی هستی که دارم، پس خوشحالم که به دیدارت میآیم." دهانم را باز کردم و در کمال تعجب، توانستم در آب نفس بکشم! شکسته شدن پیوند اکسیژن را احساس میکردم، چراکه حتی یک قطره هم وارد دهانم نشد!
ناگهان سیمرغ با سرعت، از کنارم گذشت. همان لحظه حس کردم که دیگر فرو نمیروم، بلکه حرکتم رو به بالا تغییر کرده است! چندی نگذشت که با نیرویی نامرئی از چاه به سمت لبهی بالا پرت شدم.
باورم نمیشود! از چاهی در ارتفاعی بلند سر در آوردهام که یک سمتش خشکی است و سمت دیگرش رودخانهای که آبشارهای بزرگ و کوچک زیادی به درون آن میریزند!

باورم نمیشود! از چاهی در ارتفاعی بلند سر در آوردهام که یک سمتش خشکی است و سمت دیگرش رودخانهای که آبشارهای بزرگ و کوچک زیادی به درون آن میریزند!

As soon as I fell into the well, it was as if I had been silenced. I had no thoughts, nor did I struggle. I closed my eyes and felt myself sinking into the depths—without feeling any pressure on my body!
I held my breath. Nearly a minute passed. I opened my eyes and looked up; the distance was vast, yet I kept sinking. I could no longer hold my breath. Fear overtook me, and I began to thrash, but the more I struggled, the faster I sank!
I couldn't endure it any longer. Is this my end? I whispered, "O God! You are the only one I have, so I am happy to meet You."
I opened my mouth—and to my astonishment, I could breathe underwater! I felt the bonds of oxygen breaking, yet not a single drop entered my mouth!
Suddenly, the Simurgh passed by me at great speed. At that very moment, I felt I was no longer sinking; instead, my movement had shifted upward! Before long, an invisible force hurled me from the well toward its upper edge.
I couldn’t believe it! I had emerged from a well at a great height—on one side, there was dry land, and on the other, a river into which countless waterfalls, both great and small, cascaded!

مات و مبهوت این طبیعت بکر بودم که بوی خوشی، همچون عطری مستکننده، به مشامم رسید. برگشتم و پشت سرم را نگاه کردم؛ دشتی پر از گلهای نرگس، سرشار از طراوت و شادابی. احساسی از سبکی در من جریان یافت، انگار وزنی نداشتم. سکوتی عجیب و وهمآلود بر همهجا حاکم بود.
از لبهی چاه پایین آمدم و به سمت دشت قدم برداشتم. شاهین بالای سرم کمی جلوتر حرکت میکرد. دستانم را گشودم، همانند سیمرغ خود را به چپ و راست میبردم و نفسهای عمیق میکشیدم. آنقدر غرق لذت بودم که نفهمیدم چقدر راه آمدهام. وقتی برگشتم، دیگر چاه را نمیدیدم، اما نهراسیدم؛زیرا گویی در بهشت هستم.
میان آن دشت زیبا پیش میرفتم که در دوردست، جنگلی انبوه نمایان شد. پس از آن، کوهی عظیم سر برآورده بود؛ دامنهاش پوشیده از درختان، اما از میانهی راه، صخرههایی تیره با رگههای نقرهای پدیدار میشدند و برف قله در آسمان صاف و آبی میدرخشید.
ناگهان، مو به تنم سیخ شد. سکوت محض را صدایی شکست—همان صدایی که در خواب شنیده بودم:
"بیا، آبتین... مسیر درست همین است!"
پاهایم سست شد. قلبم تند میکوبید. فریاد زدم: "تو کیستی؟" اما جوابی نشنیدم.

I was mesmerized by the untouched beauty of nature when a captivating fragrance, like an intoxicating perfume, reached my senses. I turned around and looked behind me—an endless field of daffodils, overflowing with freshness and vitality. A feeling of weightlessness flowed through me, as if I had no mass. An eerie and mysterious silence dominated everything.
I climbed down from the edge of the well and stepped toward the field. The falcon soared ahead of me, moving slightly forward. I spread my arms wide, swaying left and right like the Simurgh, taking deep breaths. I was so lost in the moment that I didn’t realize how far I had walked. When I turned back, the well was no longer in sight, yet I felt no fear—for it seemed as though I was in paradise.
As I wandered through that breathtaking field, a dense forest appeared in the distance. Beyond it, a colossal mountain emerged—its slopes covered in trees, but halfway up, dark cliffs with silver streaks began to appear, and the snow-capped peak gleamed against the clear blue sky.
Suddenly, a chill ran down my spine. The absolute silence was broken by a voice—the same voice I had heard in my dreams:
"Come, Abtin... this is the right path!"
My legs weakened. My heart pounded violently. I shouted, "Who are you?"
But there was no answer.

حیران و کنجکاو به حرکت خود ادامه دادم. برایم خیلی عجیب بود که با اینکه مدت زمان زیادی از وعده قبلی غذایم میگذشت، اصلاً گرسنه نبودم و از گذر زمان چیزی متوجه نمیشدم و حتی خوابم نیز نمیآمد. گویی در بُعد دیگری از زندگانی به سر میبرم!
نزدیک درختان جنگل رسیده بودم. درختان، تنههای بلند و شاخههای کوتاه دارند. وارد جنگل شدم از لابلای شاخهها و برگها میتوانستم همچنان کوه را ببینم. به سمتش حرکت خود را ادامه دادم تا اینکه در مسیر، چند درخت بسیار عجیب دیدم. تنه این درخت سبز رنگ بود و برگهایش به رنگ بنفش، میوههایی که از شاخههایش آویزان بود، به شکل مخروطی و طلایی رنگ بودند و گویی چراغی در آن میدرخشید!
ناگهان احساس ضعف شدیدی کردم و دستم را بردم به سمت یکی از میوهها که بردارم و بخورم.دراین حین شاهین به دستم هجوم آورد و شروع کرد به صیحه زدن و پروبال زدن. با خود گفتم حتماً سمی است که این چنین مخالف است، اما خیلی دلم میخواهد یکی از آنها را بخورم. باید به حرفش گوش کنم، حتماً او به این سرزمین آشنایی دارد،وقتی مُصمم شدم که نخورم، بطور حیرتآوری در همان لحظه گرسنگیام از بین رفت!

I continued my journey, bewildered and lost. It struck me as very strange that although a long time had passed since my last meal, I wasn’t hungry at all, and I couldn’t even feel the passage of time—nor could I fall asleep. It was as if I was living in another dimension of existence!
I had reached the trees of the forest. The trees had tall trunks and short branches. As I entered the forest, I could still see the mountain through the gaps in the branches and leaves. I kept moving toward it, but on the way, I encountered several very unusual trees. The trunks of these trees were green, and their leaves were purple. Fruits hung from their branches, shaped like cones and golden in color, as though a light were shining from within them!
Suddenly, I felt an intense weakness and reached out to one of the fruits, intending to pick it and eat it. At that moment, the falcon attacked my hand and stood in front of it. Then, it began to screech, opening and closing its wings. I thought to myself, "It must be poisonous, given its strong opposition, but I really want to eat one of them. I must listen to it; surely it knows this land well." I decided not to eat it, and astonishingly, my hunger vanished!

روی زمین نشستم و غرق در زیبایی این درخت شده بودم که ناگهان آسمان روز در کسری از ثانیه جای خود را به آسمان شب داد و ستارههای بیشماری در آن نمایان شد که از لابلای شاخه و برگ درختان هم میشد نورشان را دید. نگاهم را روی درخت برگرداندم که متوجه شدم نور میوههای درخت تغییر کرده و از طلایی به قرمز تبدیل شده است!
در همین هنگام بود که در اطرافم صدای پا شنیدم و لرزی بر تنم افتاد. خودم را به بالای یکی از درختان رساندم و لابلای شاخه و برگهایش پناه گرفتم. صدا کمکم نزدیکتر میشد. پی در پی در جستجوی چیزی که صدا را تولید میکند میگشتم، در عین ناباوری گرگی سفید رنگ را دیدم که بسیار بزرگتر از حالت عادی بود و خیلی آهسته به این سمت میآید و خرناس میکشد!
نزدیک درخت که شد، ناگهان سیمرغ صیحهای کشید و به سمتش رفت، گرگ دستهایش را خم کرد و سرش را تا نزدیک زمین پایین آورد، گویی که به شاهین تعظیم میکند. سپس سیمرغ یکی از آن میوهها را به سمت گرگ انداخت و گرگ آن را در دهانش گرفت و دور شد!
من که متحیر از این کارها شده بودم، خیلی دوست داشتم دنبال آن گرگ بروم تا بفهمم با آن میوه چه میکند!

I sat on the ground, immersed in the beauty of this tree, when suddenly, in the blink of an eye, the daylight sky was replaced by the night sky, and countless stars appeared, their light visible even through the branches and leaves of the trees. I turned my gaze back to the tree and noticed that the light of the tree's fruits had changed, shifting from golden to red!
At that moment, I heard footsteps around me, and a shiver ran down my spine. I quickly climbed one of the trees and hid among its branches and leaves. The sound grew steadily closer. I kept searching for the source of the noise, and to my disbelief, I saw a white wolf, much larger than usual, slowly making its way toward me, growling!
As it approached the tree, the Simurgh suddenly cried out and flew toward it. The wolf lowered its head and bent its front legs, as if bowing to the Simurgh. Then the Simurgh threw one of the fruits toward the wolf, which caught it in its mouth and walked away!
I was astonished by this turn of events, and I couldn't help but feel a strong desire to follow the wolf to find out what it would do with that fruit!

در افکار خود بودم که دیدم مار کبری بزرگی همان اتفاقی را که برای گرگ رخ داد، تجربه کرد. سپس میمونی نارنجی و درشتاندام نیز همان حرکات را تکرار کرد. با خود گفتم: چه رازی است که هر سه تعظیم کردند و میوهای ستاندند؟
از درخت پایین آمدم و به سمت درخت رفتم، سیمرغ مقابلم نشست و سرش را به نشانه تعظیم خم کرد. خشکم زد. دستم را به سوی میوه بردم تا ببینم واکنشش چیست اما باز هم مانع شد!
پلکهایم سنگین شد، انگار سالها نخوابیدهام. در میان بوته ها درون کیسهخواب رفتم، به آسمان پرستاره آنجا چشم دوختم اما زود خوابم برد.
در خواب، کولاک شدیدی بود و من در مرکز آن؛ پناهگاهی نبود و تند باد دانه های بزرگ برف را به صورتم میزد که رعدی بر تنم خورد و ناگهان در بیابانی خشک و بیآبوعلف ظاهر شدم. در دوردست درختی دیدم و از خشکی آبو هوا تشنگی شدیدی بهم دست داد پس دویدم به سمت درخت، اما هرچه بیشتر می دویدم، درخت دورتر میشد، متوجه شدم که درخت سراب بود!
ناگهان همان صدا آمد:
"آبتین، به راه خودت ادامه بده و از مسیر خارج نشو!"
باز فریاد زدم تو کیستی اما دیگر جوابی نشنیدم، روی خاک افتادم و از خواب پریدم!

I was lost in my thoughts when I saw a large cobra snake experiencing the same thing that had happened to the wolf. Then, a large, orange monkey also repeated the same actions. I wondered to myself: what is the secret behind the fact that all three bowed and took a fruit?
I descended from the tree and approached it. The Simurgh sat before me and bowed its head in respect. I froze. I reached my hand towards the fruit to see how it would react, but once again, it stopped me!
My eyelids grew heavy, as though I hadn’t slept for years. I crawled into my sleeping bag among the bushes and gazed up at the starry sky, but soon, I fell asleep.
In my dream, a fierce blizzard raged, and I was at its center, with no shelter around me. The strong wind blew large snowflakes into my face, and a lightning bolt struck me. Suddenly, I found myself in a dry, barren desert. In the distance, I saw a tree, and the thirst from the dry air hit me hard, so I ran toward the tree. But the more I ran, the farther the tree seemed. I realized it was a mirage!
Suddenly, the same voice came: “Aptin, continue on your path and do not stray from the way!”
I shouted again, "Who are you?" but no answer came. I collapsed onto the ground and woke up from my sleep!

چشمانم را با دستانم مالیدم و دیدم آسمان روشن است. اطرافم را نگریستم و متوجه شدم کمی دورتر از من نهر آبی وجود دارد. به سمت آن رفتم و دست و صورتم را شستم. برایم خیلی عجیب است که اصلاً احساس گرسنگی نمیکنم. کمی از آن آب نوشیدم. رد حیواناتی که دیشب پیش درخت آمده بودند، تقریباً در یک جهت بود. خواستم ردپایشان را تعقیب کنم که شاهین صیحهای کشید و دقیقاً در مخالف جهت به سمت کوهها حرکت کرد. من نیز به ناچار از پی او رفتم!
درختان هرچه میرفتم، تمامی نداشتند و گویی هی بر تعدادشان افزوده میشد. اما میتوانستم کوه را با وضوح بهتری تماشا کنم. همچنین میتوانستم راهنمایم را از بلندای درختان ببینم. با خود گفتم: "خدایا، اینجا کجاست که گرسنگی معنا ندارد و شب و روزش در یک لحظه اتفاق میافتد؟ خدایا مرا جز تو یار و یاوری نیست!"
یکباره تمام راهی که تا کوه مانده بود، به چند قدم تبدیل شد و در نزدیکی کوهپایه بودم. سطوح کوه کاملاً صاف و غیرقابل صعود بود، همچون سنگ گرانیت سیقل خورده. دیدم که شاهین به سمت چپ کوهپایه رفت. وقتی بدنبالش رفتم، دیدم در مقابلم حوضچهای که از آن بخار برمیخیزد، ظاهر شده است!

I rubbed my eyes with my hands and saw that the sky was bright. I looked around and noticed a small stream a little farther from me. I walked toward it and washed my hands and face. It felt strange that I didn’t feel hungry at all. I drank some of the water.
The tracks of the animals that had come to the tree last night were almost all in the same direction. I wanted to follow their trail, but the hawk let out a cry and flew toward the mountains—exactly in the opposite direction. I had no choice but to follow it!
The farther I walked, the more trees appeared, as if they had no end. Yet, I could now see the mountain more clearly. I could also spot my guide from above the treetops. I thought to myself, "My God, what kind of place is this, where hunger has no meaning and night and day happen at the same moment? My Lord, I have no helper but You!"
Suddenly, the long distance to the mountain shrank to just a few steps, and I found myself near its base. The mountain’s surface was entirely smooth and impossible to climb, like polished granite. I saw the hawk heading toward the left side of the mountain base. When I followed, a steaming pool appeared before me!

دور و اطراف حوض را جستجو کردم که ناگهان چشمانم به سنگی شفاف و عجیب افتاد؛ سطح آن از دانههای متعدد و با ترتیب خاصی کنار هم شبیه به ذرت پوشیده شده بود. با دقت بیشتری نگاه کردم و درون هر دانه، ذراتی طلایی و درخشان دیدم که نورشان خیرهکننده بود. دستانم را روی سنگ کشیدم و شگفتزدهتر شدم؛ برخلاف آنچه انتظار داشتم، سطحش بسیار لطیف و نرم بود!
سیمرغ آمد و روی سنگ نشست و او نیز به دانهها مینگریست، سپس روی آن آرام گرفت. سردرگم شده بودم، بیاختیار فریاد زدم: «بار پروردگارا! اینجا کجاست که مرا آوردهای؟ نام این سرزمین زیبا چیست؟ برای چه مرا اینجا آوردی؟»
در آن لحظه، گویی کسی در گوشم نجوا کرد: «در آب حوض شستشو کن!»
ناخودآگاه دستانم را درون آب زلالش فرو بردم. گرمای مطبوعش سراسر وجودم را فرا گرفت. مهیای استحمام شدم و خود را درون حوض رها کردم. چنان آرامشی به من دست داد که متوجه نشدم کی خوابم برد...
در خواب، دوباره همان بیابان را دیدم، اما این بار کوه را در مقابلم میدیدم. دو راه پیش رویم قرار داشت، به شکلی که مسیرها همچون بیضی در هم تنیده بودند و هر دو در انتها به کوه منتهی میشدند...

I searched around the pond when suddenly my eyes caught sight of a transparent and strange stone; its surface was covered with numerous kernels arranged in a specific order, resembling corn. I looked closer and saw golden, radiant particles inside each kernel, their glow mesmerizing. I ran my hands over the stone and became even more astonished; contrary to my expectations, its surface was incredibly soft and smooth!
The Simurgh arrived and perched on the stone, gazing at the kernels as well. Then, it settled upon them. I was bewildered and instinctively cried out, "O Lord! Where is this place You have brought me to? What is the name of this beautiful land? Why have You brought me here?"
At that moment, it felt as though someone whispered in my ear: "Bathe in the pond’s water!"
Unconsciously, I dipped my hands into its clear water. Its pleasant warmth enveloped my entire being. I prepared myself for bathing and let myself sink into the pond. Such tranquility overcame me that I didn’t realize when I fell asleep...

انگار چیزی پشتم را چنگ زد و ناگهان چشمانم باز شد!
خودم را غوطهور در آب یافتم، در حالی که سیمرغ تلاش میکرد مرا به بیرون بکشد. اطرافم سنگهای آبی درخشانی به چشم میخورد. دیوارههای داخل آب ستونبندی بود و بر خلاف چاهی که از آن آمده بودم، نمیتوانستم نفس بکشم. خودم را به سطح رساندم!
چشمانم به نوک قله خیره مانده بود و ذهنم درگیر شعر و اینکه چگونه میتوانم از این صخرههای سیقلی خود را به آنجا برسانم.
به سمت پشت کوه حرکت کردم تا شاید راهی برای بالا رفتن بیابم. از دور، تپهای به چشمم خورد که تختهسنگهایی منظم روی آن قرار داشتند.
نزدیکتر که شدم، حصار چوبیای دورش دیدم. کنجکاو شدم و به دنبال درِ ورودی گشتم، اما دری نیافتم. دستم را به نردهها نزدیک کردم تا از بالای آن عبور کنم که ناگهان دستم از نرده رد شد، طوری که نزدیک بود به زمین بیفتم!

It felt as if something clawed at my back, and suddenly, my eyes opened!
I found myself submerged in water, while the Simurgh was trying to pull me out. All around me were radiant blue stones. The underwater walls were columned, unlike the well I had come from—I couldn’t breathe. I struggled to the surface!
My eyes locked on the peak of the mountain, and my mind was absorbed in the poem—wondering how I could possibly climb those smooth rocks to reach it.
I moved behind the mountain, hoping to find a path upward. In the distance, I saw a hill with neatly arranged boulders on it.
As I got closer, I noticed a wooden fence surrounding it. Curious, I searched for an entrance, but found none. I reached out to climb over the fence—
But suddenly, my hand passed right through it, and I nearly fell to the ground!

اما دستی از پشت سر، ناگهان مرا محکم گرفت. ترسیده بودم؛ ولی از طرفی خوشحال که شاید دیگر تنها نیستم. سریع برگشتم... اما هیچکس نبود! تنها سکوت و نسیمی سرد. ناگهان صدایی از سمت کوه برخاست. چرخیدم؛ مردی با ردایی قهوهای در دوردست دیده میشد. بیدرنگ به دنبال او دویدم. هرچه میدویدم، به او نمیرسیدم. بالا را نگاه کردم... اما سیمرغ را ندیدم! تعجب کردم، چراکه از آغاز این سفر در این سرزمین، حتی لحظهای مرا تنها نگذاشته بود. آن مرد، پشت صخرهای نزدیک کوه ناپدید شد. من، مصمم و بیآنکه تردید کنم، مسیرش را دنبال کردم. وقتی به پشت صخره رسیدم، شوکه شدم! عمارتی عظیم، زیبا، مجلل و باشکوه در مقابلم نمایان شد، بهحدی خیرهکننده که هر توصیفی از آن، کملطفی بود. شاهین، با وقاری شگفت، بر یکی از ستونهای ورودی عمارت نشسته بود! صخرهای که پشت آن رفته بود، امتداد یافته و در پشت عمارت همچون حصاری برای سنگهای ریزشی عمل میکرد؛ و حالا روشن بود چرا آنجا از دید پنهان مانده بود...

But suddenly, a hand from behind grabbed me tightly. I was scared, yet at the same time relieved, thinking maybe I wasn't alone anymore. I quickly turned around... but there was no one! Only silence and a cold breeze. Suddenly, a voice rose from the direction of the mountain. I turned; a man in a brown cloak could be seen in the distance. Without hesitation, I ran after him. No matter how fast I ran, I couldn’t reach him. I looked up... but I didn’t see the Simurgh! I was surprised, as it had never left my side since the beginning of this journey in this land. The man disappeared behind a rock near the mountain. I, determined and without any doubt, followed his path. When I reached the rock, I was shocked! A massive, beautiful, luxurious, and magnificent mansion appeared before me, so dazzling that any description would fall short. The Simurgh, with astonishing grace, was perched on one of the entrance columns of the mansion! The rock that had hidden behind it extended, acting as a barrier for falling stones behind the mansion; and now it was clear why it had been hidden from view...

کنجکاوی بود که مرا میکشاند؟ هرچه به عمارت نزدیکتر میشدم، پاهایم بیشتر میلرزید. مقابل در ایستادم؛ دری چوبی و عظیم، نزدیک ده متر ارتفاع داشت. مشتهایم را بر آن کوبیدم و فریاد زدم: «آهای! کسی آنجاست؟» سکوت. دوباره کوبیدم و بلندتر فریاد زدم... باز هم هیچ. در، بیصدا باز شد، آرام، بیآنکه دستی آن را تکان دهد. سرک کشیدم، اما ناگهان وزنم روی لبه در افتاد؛ تکیهگاهم لغزید و به درون افتادم و صدای بسته شدن در آمد!
همهچیز آینه بود؛ سقف، دیوارها، حتی کف. هر جا که مینگریستم، خودم بودم. تصویر درتصویر، گیجکننده و بیپایان. سراسیمه برگشتم تا از همان راه بیرون بروم، اما در را نیافتم. هر طرف که دست میکشیدم، فقط آینه بود. خروجی در میان انعکاسها گم شده بود. سیمرغ را صدا زدم. صدایش بلند شد، نه از نزدیکی، بلکه از بالای گنبد. سرم را بالا گرفتم؛ پنجرهای در سقف بود و سیمرغ از آنجا صیحه میکشید. نمیتوانست وارد شود. گویی اینجا جای او نبود.
دور تا دور دیوارها را با دست جُستم، به امید شکافی، دری، چیزی... اما هرچه بیشتر میگشتم، بیشتر در میان خودم گم میشدم. انعکاسهایم محاصرهام کرده بودند.

Was it curiosity that pulled me forward? The closer I got to the mansion, the more my legs trembled. I stood before the door — a massive wooden structure, nearly ten meters tall. I pounded my fists against it and shouted, “Hey! Is anyone there?” Silence. I knocked again, shouting louder… still nothing.
The door creaked open without a sound, slowly, as if no hand had moved it. I peeked in, but suddenly realized my weight had shifted onto the edge of the door; my support slipped, and I fell inside. Behind me, the sound of the door shutting rang out.
Everything inside was made of mirrors — the ceiling, the walls, even the floor. Everywhere I looked, I saw myself. Reflections within reflections, endless and dizzying.
Panicked, I turned to exit the way I came in, but the door was gone. Wherever I placed my hands, there were only mirrors. The way out had vanished in a maze of reflections.
I called out to the Simorgh. Its cry echoed, but not from nearby — it came from above, atop the dome. I looked up; there was a large window in the ceiling, and the Simorgh was calling out from there. It couldn’t enter. As if this place was not meant for it.
I ran my hands along every wall, hoping to find a crack, a door, something... But the more I searched, the more I lost myself within myself. My reflections had surrounded me.
