I’m receiving responses for the PA role. I’ll keep posting about it until the weekend, then start assessing candidates. Spent two hours today with this legend—Hian Goh. He’s a Singaporean serial entrepreneur who co‑founded the Asian Food Channel and sold it for about $66 million. Now he’s a VC at Openspace Ventures, where he invested early in startups like Gojek and Chope.

He’s currently writing a book about his business principles—which I’ll definitely share with you once it’s out. Btw I interviewed Hian a few months ago.

So, after chatting about AI (of course—just like how every conversation in 2018 somehow turned to crypto and mining), I asked him for business advice. I walked him through our business model, income streams, current strategy, and team structure. For the next 90 minutes, we brainstormed possible directions—Hian shared use cases and backed up the ideas with real stories from his investing journey.

Eventually, we landed on something I think is pretty genius (feels like it now, haha). Once I finish recruiting my new PA, we’re going to test-launch it.

Looking back at my journey, I realize most breakthroughs came through people. That’s the rule for me now: find smart folks, build real relationships, and grow together.

A few final touches before releasing a new video tonight. It’s a conversation with a Scottish guy who grew up in Hong Kong and now lives in Shenzhen. The video is nearly an hour long, stitched together from several hours of footage shot in different locations. It includes three sponsorship placements and Chinese subtitles.

What I’m trying to say is — our videos are getting more complex, which puts more pressure on the whole team, especially since we’re publishing twice a week, no exceptions. So we're now working on how to optimize our production cycle.
