⚜️SACRED GEOMETRY

also known as hidden geometry or hermetic geometry, is the study of the structure of the world.

It describes the geometrical laws on which reality is based and connects spirit and matter, science and spirituality, heart and mind.

These laws are found everywhere - in physics, chemistry, biology, music, art, in everything that is natural or man-made.

The belief that God created the universe according to a perfect geometric plan is ancient and common in all cultures. Already ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Romans used figures and proportions of sacred geometry in their buildings. PLATONIC SOLIDS

⚜️If we look at crystals, metals and even living cells, we find that they can be reduced to specific geometric bodies. These are called platonic solids, after the Greek philosopher Plato, who described them and assigned them to the elements. They are three-dimensional bodies with the greatest possible symmetry in the universe, built from equilateral, equiangular polygons. There are only five such bodies:

Dodecahedron – assigned to the ETHER
Icosahedron – assigned to WATER
Octahedron – assigned to the AIR
Hexahedron - assigned to the EARTH
Tetrahedron - assigned to FIRE

Their Greek names refer to the number of sides they have:
a tetrahedron (or pyramid) has four faces, which are triangles.
A hexahedron (or cube) has six squares as faces,
an octahedron has eight triangles,
a dodecahedron has twelve pentagons,
and an icosahedron is bounded by twenty triangles.

In sacred geometry they represent the basic building blocks of the physical world.
