Our journey in life involves acquiring many masks that serve the world at large and hide who we really are. Our authentic selves are buried under many masks, each with a role to play in furthering agendas, often not our own or the agendas we genuinely desire. We have become masters of being who we are not and hiding our true authentic selves. We act in contradiction to our stated beliefs or feelings. Most often this is done in service of the false premise of being accepted by others.

Without authenticity it is difficult to honor the calling of our souls and to fully live a passion driven life. Dare to take off the masks that no longer serve you and allow the real you to be seen by the world.
