Task 2 (persuasion): Convince your landlord to let you adopt a small quiet dog.

Examiner's objections:
• "Les autres locataires pourraient se plaindre." (Other tenants might complain.)
• "Un chien, ça abîme l'appartement." (A dog damages the apartment.)
• "Le règlement interdit les animaux." (The lease forbids pets.)

Tuesday Learning Tip 🇫🇷

Use “en revanche” to contrast ideas (like “however/on the other hand”) — great for TEF speaking/writing.

✅ Le logement est cher; en revanche, il est bien situé.
✅ Je manque de temps; en revanche, je suis très motivé.

Mistake of the Week ❌

“Je suis 30 ans” ❌ → “J’ai 30 ans” ✅

In French, age uses avoir (to have), not être (to be). Think: “I have 30 years.”

More examples:
J’ai faim = I’m hungry
J’ai froid = I’m cold
