Ahh…
New Year’s Resolutions.
The perennial tradition on December 31st where millions of people (while stoned and drunk) declare, once and for all, THIS is the year they accomplish their goals, kick bad habits, and crush life.
You’ve done it.
I’ve done it.
But over the years I’ve come to realize…
New Year’s Resolutions are stupid, worthless, and counterproductive.
Think about it:
How many resolutions have you accomplished?
If you’re anything like the rest of Americans, your answer is almost none.
A 1988 study from the University of Scranton found only 19 percent of those who made resolutions actually fulfilled them within two years.
A 2018 survey by Statista found only 4 percent of people who made New Year’s resolutions kept them.
Pretty grim results.
I think I know why…
Most people verbally declare a resolution and then…do nothing else.
Nothing written down to track progress.
No plans to tackle the resolution.
And almost zero consideration of counterproductive habits sabotaging their momentum.
I’m putting an end to this madness once for all.
Today, we’re officially KILLING New Year’s Resolutions and replacing them with proven strategies to accomplish everything you want to in 2022 and beyond.
