In 2011, he began broadcasting his radio show Free Thinker Radio, which continues to air on 90.1 KPFT in Houston. In 2013, he founded The Conscious Resistance Network, a site dedicated to multimedia journalism that exposes corporate and governmental corruption while highlighting solutions. He co-authored The Conscious Resistance trilogy with John Vibes and authored The Holistic Self-Assessment. Since 2013, he has spoken in the United States, Europe, and Central America. His goal is to create The Conscious Agora of free humans who desire to be free of coercion.

Joel’s family purchased their eroded rock pile property in 1961 in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley and by following biological and permaculture concepts have turned it into perhaps the most abundant farm in the region. He left his town job on September 24, 1982 and returned to the farm full time, turning a homestead operation into a commercial salaried enterprise. They raise salad bar beef, pig aerator pork, pastured poultry and market it directly to some 8,000 families and a few wholesale clients. Their success attracted media attention and wanna-be interest over the years, resulting in being featured in award-winning documentary FOOD INC., the NYT bestseller Omnivore’s Dilemma and countless other venues.

Announcing The Mexico Activation Tour!
Friends,
During September and October of this year, Miriam and I traveled around the United States, visiting 29 cities and spreading a message of liberation and empowerment. We brought guided meditations, solutions for our troubling times, and conscious music. It was a huge success by all accounts.
And now.... We are bringing The Activation Tour to Mexico!
That's right, starting in February 2022 Miriam and I will be hitting the road for 1-2 months to host similar events and activism across the beautiful country of Mexico!
We are currently planning out our route but we need your help to make it a success. We will only be visiting cities where we have several local volunteers to help promote the event (in English and Espanol) and find venues.
