CROWD SOURCING SOLUTIONS - Your help needed....

Recently our site has been under constant DDOS and spam attack. Additionally it has been discovered by a group participant that someone has created FreedomCells.net, which has deceptively similar language and is clearly intended to create confusion. The site has a social media setup and encourages users to buy an ethereum erc20 token called FCELL. They also encourage crowd funding. IMO this is a scam site aimed at leveraging our growth and having people send crypto to their crew. (feel free to help us uncover what the deal is here, one FCer already discovered the company (fake perhaps) behind the site - espsofttechnologies.com)

These two revelations are what spurred this message.

In order to protect our progress we need to be smart. We need to foresee inevitable challenges and do what we can to avoid or mitigate them. For example, if I had anticipated this copy cat site when I bought FreedomCells.org I would have also bought .net as well. But alas hindsight is 20/20. Let's try to minimize mistakes like that moving forward.

So, I would like this to be a crowd-sourced project where we all share what we believe to be potential vulnerabilities for our network.

Will one person volunteer to gather all the ideas we come up with and post them in a cryptpad.fr shared doc? Please volunteer and start collecting the info so we can keep it and learn from it.

Examples include someone or a group using our name and calling for violence, further attacks on the site, fake telegram groups being made and used by authoritarians, etc.

This isn't meant to cause alarm rather it's intention is to be prepared for whatever comes our way. While we have nearly 20k participants globally, we are still in our infancy. We will grow to 100k. To 1 million. As we grow in size and become better organized and really start opting out, we can only expect the chicanery and attacks to accelerate.

Let's do what we can NOW to be prepared for whatever comes our way.

These sites appear to represent The Freedom Cell Network, they have a similar URLs like ‘freedomcells.net’ These scam sites lure you into logging in (where they no doubt will steal your login information), and attempt to get you to purchase cryptocurrency tokens.

Imposter Websites - Unfortunately, we have realized there are now two other websites claiming to be the Freedom Cell Network. To be clear, the only "official" site associated with The Freedom Cell Network is FreedomCells.org. We are not affiliated with FreedomCells dot com or FreedomCells dot net. We DO NOT recommend joining these websites. We have contacted the owners and are attempting to purchase the domains. We believe these sites might be phishing attempts to steal peoples data, or simply opportunists trying to cash in on the growth of the Network you helped build. Please do not share or support these sites.

How To Videos - We have finally added a How To section for navigating the website! We understand that the website has gone through many changes and has not always been optimal. However, we think we have improved the site greatly and it is now much more functional. If you need help or want to learn about the features visit the How To page once you login.
