🇺🇸 The dollar index (DXY) is being quoted at 109.10, holding positions at a maximum in more than 20 years.
🏛 As expected, the dollar was supported by statements made by the head of the US Federal Reserve, Jerome Powell, during his speech at the annual economic symposium in Jackson Hole. In particular, Powell noted the need for further tightening of the national monetary policy in order to reduce inflation. After that, market participants again believed that during the September meeting, the regulator could raise the rate by 0.75% for the third time in a row. According to the CME Group FedWatch Tool, the probability of such a decision is now estimated at 70%.☝️
📈 Analysts recommend buying DXY with a target of 110.00 and above.

🏛 Sales in the US stock market intensified against the background of the confirmed plans of the Fed to continue actively raising the key interest rate. It is expected that in September the US regulator will agree on a rate increase of 50-75 basis points, which could provoke even greater losses in US indices.
📊 Additional pressure on the S&P500 is exerted by the growth in the yield of 10-year US bonds, which exceeded 3%. Under such conditions, market participants prefer to buy reliable government bonds with guaranteed income than to invest in stocks.

Ну что ж, после пятничного выступления в Пауэлла в Джексон Холле, основные американские индексы показали падение на 3-4%. Позитивные ожидания о скором смягчении политики ФРС, после речи Пауэлла, сменились на страх. ФРС явно дала понять, что приоритет сегодня - это ослабление инфляции. Последние «позитивные» данные ничего не значат и «история предостерегает от преждевременного смягчения политики».
Неоднократно писал, что рост выглядит аномально и нужно ждать продолжение снижения. Технически, пока что мнение не меняю: хочу увидеть еще одну волну снижения с ретестом трендовой, от которой был крайний рост (в районе 11 000 пунктов). А лучше, если американский рынок обновит свои локальные минимумы и придет протестировать максимумы 2020 года (по Nasdaq это ~9800).

Бычий тест данного уровня на пересечении углов Ганна состоялся.
На текущий момент, по технике отчетливо прослеживается экспоненциальный канал (желтый) в сторону роста.
Зона проторговки 1.22800 - 1.30500, длящаяся уже более года, выглядит довольно внушительной (крупный рейндж).
Вероятно, что выход из этой зоны будет не менее исполинским.
Для подтверждения этого движения вверх нужно закрепляться выше выделенного красного угла, и тогда первой целью будет выступать уровень 1.36500.
