Today I want to talk to those students who are silently going through a mental breakdown. This is something that can happen to anyone, you, me, or even that friend who always looks strong from the outside. It doesn’t come with a warning, and it doesn’t need a single big reason. It can happen because of career pressure, studies, relationships, family expectations, or sometimes without any clear reason at all.

And when you're in that darkness, it's suffocating. You look around and see everyone moving forward while you're stuck, paralyzed. You feel like you're screaming but no sound comes out. Every morning feels like a battle you're losing. Every night, you lie awake wondering if tomorrow will be any different. The hope you once had? Gone. The dreams you once chased? They feel like cruel jokes now.

You stop trying. Not because you're lazy. Not because you don't care. But because you're exhausted. Exhausted from pretending you're okay. Exhausted from carrying this weight alone. Exhausted from feeling like nobody in this entire world truly understands what's breaking inside you.

But here's what I want you to do, even if it's the hardest thing you'll ever do: please, talk to your parents.

I know. I know you're scared. I know you think they'll be disappointed. I know that voice in your head is screaming, They'll think I'm weak. They'll think I'm a failure. Unke sapne kya the aur main kya ban gaya/gayi.

But listen to me carefully: that voice is lying to you.

Your parents have lived lives you've never seen. They've cried tears you've never witnessed. They've faced demons you don't even know about. Every grey hair on their head, every wrinkle on their face, it's a story of survival, of fighting through days when they too felt broken.

And everything they did, every sacrifice, every sleepless night, every dream they buried—it was all so you could have a better life than they did. Not a perfect life. Not a life without struggles. But a life where you know you're not alone.

When you walk up to them, maybe your voice will shake. Maybe tears will fall before words come out. Maybe you'll feel like you're letting them down. But the moment you say, "I'm not okay," something will shift. Because they won't see weakness. They'll see their child, hurting, and their only instinct will be to hold you, to protect you, to tell you that it's going to be alright.

They won't judge you for being "kamzor." They'll see the incredible strength it took for you to admit you're struggling. They'll see the warrior who's been fighting alone and finally had the courage to ask for backup.

You are not a burden. You are not a disappointment. You are not weak.

You are human. And being human means sometimes we break. But breaking doesn't mean you're finished. It means you're being reshaped into something even stronger.

Please don't give up. Not today. Not tomorrow. Not ever.

The world needs what only you can give. Your parents need you. And somewhere deep inside, beneath all that pain, you need yourself too.

Talk to them. Cry with them. Let them remind you who you really are.
