We understand that you are observing various Linux OS’s and wondering what could make them differ from one other also how could they be so many? Because Linux distributions are growing fast and still they increasing in number, here is why . . .

: PMS(Package Management System)
Linux Distributions are organized into sections by the major distribution they are based on, or the PMS they are based on around.

• There are 7 PMS based sections which we can categorize every Linux Distros. Those are:

1. RPM-based
2. Debian-based
3. Pacman-based
4. Gentoo-based
5. Slaxkwave-based
6. Source-based
7. Independent

What is a Linux Distro?
Windows and Mac OS X are built in-house by the companies that sell them. Linux is different in this case. Being an open-source operating system, it opens up room for anyone with a desire to create their own OS to actually do so without a lot of programming knowledge.

Whenever someone creates their own version of Linux with the use of an existing Linux distro as their base (or create one without a base by using the Linux kernel code), the complete package is called a Linux distribution.

Manjaro is Arch-based distro and Ubuntu is Debian-based distro. Arch's package management system is better than Debian (in speed we mean). Pre-installation, installation and post-installation steps are faster for Arch. Because apt package management of Debian is spending time for some unnecessary things.

You may heard of Mr. Robot a series show on American network cable TV, the best hacking show yet, otherwise you’re not geek at all and you’re on the wrong channel ! We’re kidding maybe you didn’t pay attention as we did. Let’s pitch you a little and get back to our main topic.

“We’re in a culture where you have access to everybody. You can text your grandmother. You can look up your high school friends on Facebook. You literally have no excuse to not be able to connect to people but yes, you can still feel loneliness.” In fact, our all-pervasive access to social media and mobile communication can actually exacerbate that loneliness, making people feel more isolated despite being more connected than ever. Well Mr. Robot is about that, what makes the show work is how true it is to its subject matter, from the alienation at the heart of an always-connected life to the technologies the characters use to pull off the story lines. In did you will witness much hacking and cracking in the way, it’s cool to add to the watchlist tho.

Its created by Offensive Security, is primarily preferred by ethical hackers to perform penetration tests on vulnerable networks and computers. It comes loaded with tons of pre-installed tools. However, let us make it clear that it’s not designed for a beginner who doesn’t know his/her way around in the world of Linux.

BackBox has its own software repository providing latest stable versions of various system & network analysis toolkits and the best known ethical hacking tools.
