They use smartphone microphones, car park assist sensors, and some clever DSP and control to transform 40-gram toy drones into mosquito killers.

Mosquitoes kill 700,000 people every year through malaria, dengue, and Zika. Current control methods are expensive and ineffective. Tornyol's drones 🔫 send ultrasonic pulses, detect the unique wing-beat Doppler signature of mosquitoes, then intercept and eliminate them. Just 10 drones could protect a square kilometer — cutting mosquito control costs by 100x.
