The term K8s (short for Kubernetes) uses a clever abbreviation style where the number `8` represents the 8 letters between `K and s in Kubernetes.
→ K8s = K + 8 letters + s

This naming convention isn’t unique! Another common example:
🌍 i18n = Internationalization
→ i + 18 letters + n

These are called numeronyms — abbreviations that use numbers to replace a group of letters. Cool, right? 😎
