Those of you who question how I calculate the average bandwidth. This is how I do...
I have a Gigabit Fixed Line. Even though they call it 1Gbps, you don't get full 1Gbps. The maximum I have ever experienced is about 980Mbps.
OVPN performance is usually capped between 120Mbps to 170Mbps. If you are the only person using the server, it can reach up to ~250Mbps.
What I do is, I run speed test simultaneously with multiple devices connected to the same server and use different speed test servers. That gives me a general idea to calculate the estimated maximum bandwidth I can get. I do it a few times and calculate the average out of it. It's not like I just write whatever I want.
You should also keep in mind that, the bandwidth you get may drop after I post the config in the channel since a lot of people will start connecting/sharing it.
This is just to justify the numbers I post.
