Gameweek 30 ; DAY 2 ; Key Notes :
• Bakayo Saka scored with his only shot on target in the match with an xG of just 0.2. He however collected all 3 bonus points to bring up his 3rd double digit hall in six matches. Saka has now scored 5 goals in his last 5 away matches for Arsenal.
• Dan James was once again ineffective for Leeds yet again despite his team putting the ball in the back of the net thrice. He had 2 big chances, created 3 chances including 1 big chance but all of it to no avail. This was James' 5th blank in 6 matches.
• Rodrigo scored his 2nd goal in as many games after scoring just once in his previous 9 matches.
• This is the 8th instance out of last 11 games when Wolves have failed to keep a clean sheet. They'd managed 6 clean sheets in the 8 games before this poor run of form.
• Arsenal registered their 13th clean sheet of the season against Aston Villa despite Ramsdale's absence. Only Man City and Liverpool have kept more CS this season.
• Phillipe Coutinho produced an awful performance against Arsenal. He had just 1 shot and created 1 chance in the match with an xG of 0.0 and xA of 0.0.
• Since Steven Gerrard took charge, Villa haven’t recorded a single win or clean sheet against the sides currently ranked eighth or higher. The Villans’ next three league matches are against Wolves, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool: all clubs in the top eight.
• Alexandre Lacazette blanked for the first time in an away match since Gameweek 15
• Martin Odegaard continues to do his best Luka Modric impression, having contributed no goals and only one assist this calendar year; Arsenal have scored on 12 occasions in that time.

FPL Daily Injury Updates (20/03/22) 🏥 :
– Mikel Arteta on Aaron #Ramsdale : “He’s got a muscle injury and he will be out for a few weeks. He wasn’t comfortable in the last 50 minutes against Liverpool. He wanted to be here to support Bernd which tells you about a lot of things behind the scenes.”
– Mikel Arteta on Gabriel #Martinelli : “He’s been sick the last few days so he’s out of the squad, unfortunately.”
– Mikel Arteta on Bukayo #Saka’s substitution on Saturday : “He was really fatigued. He’s played a lot of minutes. He needs to go with England and the best thing was to take him off.”
– Bruno Lage on Ruben #Neves : In a couple of days we’ll know. He didn’t feel comfortable on his knee. We need to wait and see.”
– Jesse Marsch on #Raphinha : “He’s Covid positive right now. We didn’t find out until after our press conference yesterday. It’s obviously unfortunate for him with us right now and with the national team but hopefully, he won’t stay positive for long.”
– Jesse Marsch on injuries : “#Bamford is not too bad. Planatar fasciitis just been sensitive over the last couple of weeks. Very disappointed and the reaction can look bad, but I don’t think it is. Just disappointed to come off.
#Llorente back spasm bothering him. Probably stay here during the break. #Klich had concussion, but seems to be okay. Illan (#Meslier) hip contusion, don’t think it’s too bad.”
**As for #Jimenez, as a result of his red card – his second of the season, he will now miss Gameweeks 31 and 32 through suspension. With a possible blank to follow subject to this weekend’s FA Cup results, heavy sales are now expected.
