PRESEASON ANALYSIS 🚨
Everton drew 3-3 with away at Blackpool
⚽️ : Sigurdsson x2, Calvert-Lewin
🅰️ : Sigurdsson, Calvert-Lewin, Walcott
Everton: Pickford (Lossl 46’); Kenny (Coleman 46’), Holgate (Gibson 62’), Branthwaite (Keane 46’), Digne (Nkounkou 62’); Sigurdsson (John 76’), Davies, Gordon (Besic ’62); Kean (Walcott 46’), Calvert-Lewin (Simms 76’), Iwobi (Bolasie 62’).
Notes 📝
The Blues had a really shaky start having conceded three times inside 10 minutes. But a solid display thereafter saw Everton claw their way back into the game.
Everton – operated in a 4-3-3 formation, with Sigurdsson (£7.0) deepest in a midfield also featuring Davies (£5.5) and Anthony Gordon (£4.5).
Gylfi Sigurdsson scored a brace, a penalty & a free-kick, he also supplied an assist.
Brantwaite (£4.0), he started the match but I don't think he'll be a nailed started. Anyway, at that price, he's worth tracking throughout preseason.

Firmino (£9.5) scored a goal and supplied an assist.
Keita (£5.5) & Jones (£4.5) were picked in the offensive central midfield roles, left and right of Fabinho (£5.5) respectively. Both impressed, both were in fact probably the best performers in that dominant first half.

Brewster (£4.5) got himself on the score sheet. If he does get loaned to another Premier League team, he might be one to watch.

PRESEASON ANALYSIS 🚨
Palace come out 2-1 victors over Oxford
⚽️ : Zaha, McArthur
🅰️ : Schlupp, Townsend
Penalty missed: Schlupp
Red card: James McCarthy
Palace: Henderson, Ward [Inniss, 70], Kouyaté [Kelly, 61], Dann [Woods, 70], Riedewald [Gordon, 801, Townsend [Malachi Boateng, 81], McCarthy [Mitchell, 20], McArthur [Kirby, 75], Zaha, Ayew [Meyer, 45], Schlupp [Pierrick, 70].
Subs Not Used: Hennessey, Jach.
Notes 📝
Schlupp (£5.5) is classified as midfielder in FPL but he played as a strike partner to Ayew. And he was brilliant. Only came out with an assist in the end as he did miss a penalty but a lot of positives. Watchlist!
Zaha (£7.0) was impressive as well. It remains to be seen if he'll still be at Palace come end of the transfer market.

PRESEASON ANALYSIS 🚨
Newcastle 3-0 Crewe Alexandra
⚽️ : Carroll, Atsu, Fernandez
🅰️ : Lascelles, Gayle, Barlaser
Newcastle United (first half): Mark Gillespie, Emil Krafth, Jamaal Lascelles, Ciaran Clark, Paul Dummett, Jacob Murphy, Isaac Hayden, Daniel Barlaser, Allan Saint-Maximin, Miguel Almirón, Andy Carroll
Newcastle United (second half): Karl Darlow, DeAndre Yedlin, Federico Fernández, Florian Lejuene, Javier Manquillo, Henri Saivet, Matty Longstaff, Jonjo Shelvey, Christian Atsu, Sean Longstaff, Dwight Gayle (sub Daniel Barlaser 63)
Notes 📝
Fernandez (£5.0), just like last season, he showed that he is a real threat from set-pieces. He kinda justifies his £5.0 fpl price tag.
Saint-Maximin (£5.5) had no attacking returns but was threatening. I know his on a lot of FPL manager's watchlist.
Carroll (£5.5) & Gayle (£6.0) both got attacking returns. It remains to be seen who is going to lead the Magpies' line this coming season, with Joelinton (£6.0) also in contention.
