for years i have developed a long history partnering with very talented people that were lacking some experience and it was a great success for them, i have done this twice, with @kor_ka and with @dvlkv, with both of them i have been working in two consecutive companies and both got sizable boost in their careers.

at the moment it seems that it is quite challenging to hire same people third time in a row, so it is a time for a new chapter

i have found the reason why we have shitty hiring process now: they still use gpt-3.5

i am on my 5th week of ozempic, results:

first 4 weeks are introductory so won’t have much of effects, i had some side effects and i extended one week by two days to slow down a little, but week ago i have doubled the dosage (as needed) and have virtually zero side effects.

what it did to me:
- almost completely eliminated anxiety
- i am now never exhausted, only tired
- i have almost perfect sleep, today i even slept for 6-30 and feel myself well
- i am easily recovering when i overstay and do the night of coding, it is so good that it is almost the level of me 20yo
- i still feel hungry from time to time, but i don’t have the feeling that this is something bad, i can easily just ignore this feeling
- i can’t eat much - if i eat say something more than an apple, i will almost puke, but i don’t want to eat much
- healthy food is much more preferred naturally, junk food is secondary though sugar sodas are still ok.
- i think it changed how much coffee i can take and i can now drink more without anxiety or some neurological problems, before i had to stop coffee all together to sleep well

what it didn’t do to me:
- i didn’t lose weight (only ~3 pounds)
- i didn’t change anything in my preferences, no need to force myself for a diet, or something similar

i met old friends that they told me that i have less energy, idk why they said this, may be that’s being more relaxed looks like.

i am shocked, i thought i will share bill with you how much did it cost, but there are no bill: it is free. including surgery, dozens and dozens of tests, ultrasound, medicine (including oxy and morphine), dedicated room with tv and view, food, virtually anything i neededed. super friendly and competent specialists and it needed like 15 of them. i paid for ER twice (2x150$ flat fee for ER) and CT with contrast (75$), and that’s all expenses i had. holy fuck.

first time was prescribed opioids

it seems in america painkiller use schedule is simple: take ibuprofen, if it is not working straight to opioids (oxycontin)

i also was injected with morphine day after surgery, but it didn’t have any effect on me at all, it didn’t even help me with pain, but tylenol (paracetamol) worked much better.

oxycontin is not that strong it barely helped, but it is immediately addictive, i was sitting and playing some game and i noticed that i have an idea “i need to get more”, which is super weird because i wasn’t high, but it was still addictive.

truly evil drug.
