Guidelines for Calculator for the exam -
1. According to ICAI, calculators with 12 digit, 6 functions and 2 memories are allowed
2. + - / X % Sqrt are the six functions which are there on a standard calculator so ensure that your calculator has only these
3. Preferably do not get calculators with Tax + and Tax - buttons. No one checks in exams, but in case they check, then these buttons do not fit in the ICAI's criteria
4. It is better if you have GT button as it can help in annuity calculations. Although if your existing calculator does not have GT, it is fine, you can use M+ for the same
5. Some calculators do not have +/- button. It is better to have it as it saves some calculations.
6. Ensure that you use SAME MODEL of calculator from the beginning till exams, as otherwise it can slow you down in calculations
7. 512 model of any company is generally good
