We're thrilled to announce our initiative to preserve the rich history of KITE(IT@School) GNU/Linux, the Linux distro that has played a vital role in IT education within Kerala.

KITE GNU/Linux is a linux distro based on Ubuntu devoloped by KITE(formerly IT@School) for use in schools within Kerala. Several versions of this distro have come out since its first release in 2006.But unfortunately,there is no public archive to preserve them.

As part of FOSSMeet 24, we're creating a public archive to preserve this important piece of technology. How can you contribute? It's simple! If you have any copies of the distro lying around, whether it's an ISO file or an old CD, we invite you to contribute it to our archive.
