Gennadi Roubailo born on 26/02/1980 in Murmansk. Emigrated to Norway at age 16 (for unknown reasons, says he was a refugee).
Moved to Ruda, Ukraine in 2011.
Registered on an address in Krasnodar, but claim to have moved to Norway with his family.
Arrived at the front in 2018; severely injured in 2022 in Popasna where colonel Valerij Hudz was killed.
Attached to the 22 mechanical brigade.
Fought in Bakhmut to its last days for the ukrainians, got injured here as well.
Now frustrated and disillusioned, says there are severe lack of weapons and equipment. Recently arrived back in Norway.
Thought initially that Ukraine could win, but not any longer. The Russians just keep on coming and the front could collapse any time now.
Only in their minds lives the hope for a victory for Ukraine he says.
