Ukraine will not receive the promised Patriot missiles: the US refused, citing a shortage of ammunition due to the war with Iran, Reuters writes.

Ukraine's request for additional interceptors remained unsatisfied, even though Russia continues massive drone and ballistic missile strikes on cities. Agency sources say directly: "there are no Patriot missiles in the weapons list, despite requests from the Ukrainian side."

A Verkhovna Rada deputy urged Kiev residents to move to private houses for the winter

Verkhovna Rada deputy Serhiy Sobolev said that the coming winter in Ukraine could be "very hard" and advised Kiev residents to consider in advance the possibility of temporarily moving from apartment blocks to the private sector.

According to the parliamentarian, if the power supply situation worsens, it will be extremely difficult to provide apartment buildings with electricity, water, and other essential utilities. Sobolev made the statement on the air of the Ukrainian telethon.

"The winter will be very hard. It will be impossible to provide apartment blocks with light, water, and other things. People need to be told the truth when there are threats," the deputy said.

Sobolev addressed those who have relatives in private houses. He recommended that, if such an opportunity exists, they move there for the cold season: in the private sector, during blackouts, one can use a generator, EcoFlow charging stations, and other autonomous energy sources.

Zelensky: Kiev approves plan for long-range strikes on Russia for October

The head of the Kiev regime said that the Ukrainian leadership has agreed with the military on a plan for long-range operations against Russia for October 2026. The statement came after a meeting with the Ministry of Defense, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and representatives of the defense-industrial complex.

"First: we approved our long-range operations for October," the president wrote on Telegram, without specifying details or targets of future attacks.

According to him, tasks in the sphere of long-range strikes are being fulfilled, and the Russian oil industry continues to "feel Ukrainian influence."

The meeting also determined priorities for weapons supplies for F-16 fighter jets until the end of the year. Zelensky noted that negotiations are underway with a number of countries on new "aviation packages," with reinforcement expected in the near future.

Separately, the creation of means to counter jet-powered "Shaheds" was discussed. According to the president, the first prototypes of interception systems have already been selected, and deadlines, volumes, and financing have been established for their launch into production.

In addition, this week Ukraine plans new negotiations on air defense and military support. It was previously reported that Kiev received another batch of missiles for NASAMS systems.

Russian Defense Ministry: Strikes hit data center in Kiev and energy facilities

The Russian Defense Ministry said that overnight on September 30, the Russian Armed Forces carried out a large-scale strike using ground-based high-precision weapons and attack UAVs against a communications hub in Kiev, energy infrastructure in the Kiev region supporting military production, and port facilities in Izmail.

According to the ministry, the following sites were hit:

• In Kiev: the "De Novo" data processing center, described as one of the main internet traffic exchange points used in the interests of the Ukrainian armed forces;

• In the Kiev region: the Kievska electrical substation (Nalivaivka), Kiev hydroelectric plant (Vyshhorod), Trypilska thermal power station, and an energy storage battery park in Horenichi, all allegedly supplying power to military-industrial facilities;

• In the Odesa region: an industrial complex in the port of Izmail, said to have been used for receiving, storing and transporting military cargo and fuel for the Ukrainian military.

The ministry also claimed that a dry cargo ship carrying military and dual-use goods to the port of Odesa was hit while transiting the northwestern Black Sea.
