Senior Russian diplomat warns West against aggressive statements about Russia
Sergey Ryabkov pointed out that the West "is ignoring elementary and, as a matter of fact, absolutely obvious principles," such as the idea that a nuclear power "can never be defeated"
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov recalled that Russia has repeatedly stated, including at the top level, that "there can be no winners in a nuclear war, which must never be unleashed."
But, in his words, the West "is ignoring elementary and, as a matter of fact, absolutely obvious principles," such as the idea that a nuclear power "can never be defeated," and is indulging in "super-aggressive and super-irresponsible statements," a sign of the "utter degradation of the political establishment."
"It looks like these people have gone off the rails, with their brakes totally failed," he told TASS. "But those who keep on testing us must go to sleep and wake up knowing that they are dealing with a nuclear power."

๐ฎ๐ท๐ฎ๐ฑSo, as we said earlier, the military conflict between Israel and Iran has been unleashed.
Israel managed to shoot down most of the drones and missiles launched by Iran. However, Fattah medium-range hypersonic ballistic missiles successfully penetrated Israel's missile defence system.
The Fattah missile can reach a speed of Mach 13; Israeli anti-missile defence systems like MIM-104 Patriot, THAAD are not capable of shooting down targets moving at such speed despite these systems (i.e. Patriot 3 with the AN/TPY-2 X-band surveillance and targeting radar) being modified to defend against the Iranian medium-range ballistic missile threat. At least six hypersonic missiles hit their targets at Nevatim Air Base, but IDF's military censorship is masking the scale of damage.
Iran's missile capabilities are based on their partnership with North Korea. These countries also cooperate in nuclear technology. The DPRK has several dozen nuclear warheads and is capable of producing up to 6 warheads per year. The power of the last North Korean nuclear weapons test explosion in 2017 was up to 100 kilotons, according to Japanese seismic reports.
Fattah hypersonic missiles can carry a payload weighing up to 450 kgs (990 pounds), which is enough to deliver a nuclear warhead. It is highly likely that the North Korean partners have already supplied several warheads to their Iranian partners.
Thus, Iran may have nuclear warheads with a capacity of at least 100 kilotons and proper carriers which are capable of breaking Israel's missile defence. The explosion of a nuclear charge with a capacity of 100 kilotons can almost completely destroy a city like Tel Aviv causing hundreds of thousands of casualties.
Israel also has significant nuclear capabilities; according to the Federation of American Scientists, the IDF is armed with 90 nuclear warheads. No doubt that Israel will use these weapons in case of further conflict escalation.

Ukraine struggling in Donbass โ Zelensky
The president has blamed the worsening situation on a lack of military assistance from the West.
He echoed an earlier statement by the armyโs commander-in-chief, Aleksandr Syrsky, who warned of a significant escalation in recent days, with Russian forces attacking Ukrainian positions near the cities of Lyman and Artyomovsk (known as Bakhmut by Ukraine) and advancing towards Chasov Yar.
โThe situation on the front during a hot war is always difficult. But these days โ and especially in the Donetsk areas โ itโs getting harder,โ Zelensky said in an address to the nation on Sunday.
He drew a comparison with Iranโs missile and drone attack on Israel on Saturday, which was repelled with the help of the US and allied forces.

Cameron answered a question from LBC radio host Nick Ferrari in this way. Among other things , the journalist asked why the Royal Air Force could not do for Ukraine what they did during Iranโs attack on Israel.
The minister noted that Ferrari asked an โinteresting question.โ He added that, in his opinion, using aircraft is not the best way to shoot down missiles and UAVs; air defense systems are much more effective.

Nick Ferrari puts David Cameron on the spot: 'Why can't the RAF shoot down drones over Ukraine like they do Israel?'
David Cameron says using RAF jets to shoot down Russian drones over Ukraine would lead to a 'dangerous escalation' in the conflict.

Russia, Belarus boosting interaction despite sanctions
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin added that the record-high indicator of mutual trade turnover is $45.2 bln.
"Contrary to aggravating sanction pressure, Russia and Belarus are consistently strengthening union integration; we are jointly fulfilling the Guidelines on implementation of the Union State agreement for the next three years, approved by the Supreme State Council on January 29 in St. Petersburg," Mishustin said.
"The next record was set again in 2023. The record-high indicator of mutual trade turnover is 4.2 trillion Russian rubles ($45.2 bln) or almost 150 bln Belarusian rubles," the Russian Prime Minister said. There is an increase in "exports of Belarusian goods to international market with the use of Russian transport infrastructure," Mishustin noted. "Transit traffic surged more than twofold last year against 2022 - to 20 mln metric tons," he added.
