50-year-old John Jessup suggested that 21-year-old Rachel celebrate her birthday in Las Vegas. The girl happily agreed because she didn't see her father often after her parents' divorce.

On the holiday, the American took his daughter to bars and actively encouraged her to try different alcoholic beverages. By the end of the day, the birthday girl was very drunk, and they went to a hotel. At some point, Rachel woke up in the middle of the night and realized that her father was raping her.

During questioning, the man denied everything for a long time, claiming that he had done nothing wrong, but in the end, he confessed. As a result, the court sentenced him to 15 years in prison.

After what happened, Rachel refused to use her father's surname and took her stepfather's surname.
