The poetic Edda (this is separate from Snorri S.'s Prose Edda) consists of a collection of gods and heroes' songs and is sometimes referred to as the pagan bible. But in the pagan teaching there is no dogma, moreover the Edda is full of humor, ridicule and satire, which you will not find in any other religious book.
The gods were not worshiped because it was demanded, but only because the cosmic order thus remained unbroken. The various writers, called skalds, attributed human qualities to the gods, such as a languishing Freyr (No. 12) and the scandals about Loki (No. 11), the stories also provided popular entertainment. The question and answer conversations, laced with wisdom, reflect an ancient tradition, passed down in this way from generation to generation.

As we've established previously, Germanic spirituality — to include the underlying moral and ethical structure — is a continuum: not a single point in time. It existed before the advent of Christianity, it continued (as Germanized, medieval Christianity) through the era of Christendom, and it is now re-asserting itself in the post-Christian, modern era in the form of a renewed Heathenry.
What was the constant factor? Was it the official spirituality of the people, or the people themselves?
The answer is obvious.
Heathenry is the ethnic spirituality of the Germanic people. So long as we endure, our spirituality will endure.
Blessings to all! 🍺😇🙏

The lies about my people are now accepted by the masses as facts but I know deep within my heart we are not the monsters we are portrayed as.
I have traveled many places and saw the empathy of my people unmatched. I went to stay with tribes with my dances with wolves mentality to see some of the worst animal cruelty I had ever witnessed. I saw cage after cage of monkeys that had been stolen from the jungle on display. Some were very old and very traumatized and I sat next to them and even held their hands.
I also saw a lot of cruelty towards dogs on my travels and jokes from the locals about how we treat dogs like people. I also did see some people who loved their animals deeply so I am not trying to generalize everyone, as some of my own people can also be very cruel.
But it did become very apparent over the years that generally we seemed to have high levels of empathy. We are from societies that over time created the most human rights, animal rights. Despite how much we are blamed for slavery we were the first people to question it. And in general on my travels noticing how nearly all the charities I came across helping many causes around the world were nearly all of European origins.
Yes we come from warrior tribes and we have a fire which is nothing to be ashamed about, we also have a very sweet side that deeply loves nature and questions morality, and it is this that gets weaponized against us.

This really should be retitled "New-Age" VS "Paganism". But hopefully the point still lands. Hope this comes in handy for anyone who needs it!

It's like a horror movie that they're trying to implement, not one of these people were elected.

One of the most powerful Viking rulers most people have never heard of was Geirmund Hjorsson.
He was the son of a local king of Rogaland, Norway, named Hjor. Geirmund had a twin brother named Håmund and according to the Icelandic sagas their mother Ljuvina was from one of the dark skinned Siberian tribes who was brought to Norway by Hjor. This was an arranged marriage so that the Norwegians could secure the walrus trade. When the twins were born they had Mongolian features with dark complexion and their mother Ljuvina feared that their father Hjor would reject them.
While Hjor was away on one of his expeditions, Ljuvina's servant girl also had a new born with blonde hair, whom Ljuvina presented to Hjor as his own when he returned. King Hjor however suspected that the child was not his and was rather cold and aloof with the child. Ljuvina finally presented Hjor's real children to him, and the story goes that Hjor said, 'I think these boys are of my kin, but I have never seen such Hel-like skin before.' Hjor gave the twins the nickname 'Heljarskinn' which roughly translates to Hel-skin.
According to the Icelandic Book of Settlements Geirmund became a warrior-king. He went on Viking expeditions to the British Isles, and ruled a kingdom in Rogaland, Norway. (Sturlubók manuscript, chapter 112).
He also went on to become one of the most powerful settlers in Iceland acquiring his own personal army and several farmsteads and was described as 'the noblest born of all the original settlers of Iceland.' (Sturlubók manuscript, chapter 115). When Geirmund died, his friends and family gave him the Norse send-off to the afterlife, complete with a ship burial fit for a king.

Hunger Stones are another genius technique used in some Czech and German rivers.
These stones mark low river levels that would forecast famines.
This one, in the Elbe river, is from 1616 and says: "If you see me, cry".
