β€œThomas Sowell, who is one of our favorite commentators, points out three things that make the collectivists uneasy. These are cars, guns, and home schooling, all of which grant to the individual a degree of independence of action which terrifies the champions of the super state.

Cars, guns and home schooling reduce the need for the statism so prized by the socialists. They do not wish you freedom to move around. They do not wish you to be able to protect yourself. And they do not wish you to decide what your children should be taught.

Such things reduce the power of the state over the citizen.” (at 915)

🌿Those connected to their Ethnic Folk heritage are extremely hard to corrupt because their spirituality isn't transmuted through a book. It comes from inside you. From your blood and your spirit and heart and the land. It's always there if you just listen.

Love the land you reside upon. If you don't, then find somewhere that stirs your soul and you connect with. This is part of making your family and people stronger. Wood and Stone, Blood and Bone.

Seo Linn; Γ“rΓ³ SΓ© do Bheatha Bhaile
A traditional Irish folk song rewritten by Patrick Pearse in 1912, updated by Seo Linn in 2016. As with all Folk music no one can truly own it (it belongs to the people from which it sprang) but they can and should bring these songs from the past into the present.

This song is a call to war sang by a passionate young man and is quite simply the BEST version of this particular song we have heard recorded. While he is young and lacking the authority of a more mature voice his passion is clear. We are sure if you close your eyes and let your mind wander to the past you can hear a thousand or a thousand thousand Irish warriors growling this song as they march across the Irish countryside calling to their kinsmen to aid them in reclaiming the land stolen from them by their own nobles to sell to foreigners the same as they do to this day.

Pay attention, it is your birthright they steal and plunder from you.

I'm a sky watcher and take many cloud pictures. Here are a few from my neighborhood.
1/2 SYMBOLS
Shamanic attributes are permeated with symbolism, the drawings on the instruments have a deep meaning:
- People, animals and plants are depicted strictly under the sky and on earth, so harmony is observed - people must know their place in the universe.
- The image of an arrow on the instruments for rituals is called the Arrow of a shaman. It symbolizes the Axis of the world.
-The symbol of a tree or a mountain resting on the sky connects the Upper, the Lower and the Middle World.
- Birds are intermediaries between the earthly world and the heavenly one. Shamans ask for their help to get an answer from the spirits of the Upper World.
-The image of the stars indicates belonging to the Upper World.
Each shaman has his own animal patrons, and the number of them depends on his capabilities.
- A wolf represents freedom and independence, fearlessness and nobility, morality and devotion.
- A bear symbolizes Strength and courage, wisdom and justice, bravery.

These are some of the animal / birds that have personal meaning for me. Growing up in the colder part of North America and having mostly Northern European ancestry may have some influence on this. Of course the dog is domestic but a very old breed- Norwegian Elkhound - I'm on my 3rd and They are my choice for a companion animal.
