Late november is the time that Sinterklaas and Zwarte Piet (Saint Nicolas and Black Peter) arrive in the Netherlands. The last decade that always stirres up a totally unneccessary discussion about slavery and racism. Some people think Black Peter represents a black person. Thats totally ignorant. The Sinterklaas festivity, altough in another form, is 1000's of years old😎. Saint Nicolas in his present form is basically Wodan wearing another outfit and Black Peter goes all the way back to the beings of the Underworld.
