As consumers we have a lot of control that we do not realize we have. Think about how quickly grocery stores started to fill up with more & more organic, non-gmo products, as soon as the public started to learn about the importance of consuming organic natural foods as much as possible. Suddenly, all of the major food companies stared to put out more organic, non-gmo options when before they had non at all. It’s because these complaints cater to our wants and needs, not the other way around. They need our business
" The bidding of the "Beast". Thas when people are harnessed to a narrative, whether religious, or political, and armed to fight for it....
Narratives, as we well know, and especially from this current juncture, are as liable to be spurious..as they are true. On the trail of this, follow the money, power, influence.. to find the devious, and those of the ilk... "Crimes against humanity" are the words that comme to mind of the worst, while others in the realm of "Academic," and social theory are somewhat less harmful though as little worthy, of respect.
------ Truth, can as easily be entertained by an old hillbilly who ... though they never graduated from nothin.. .. are self edicated ..and the brilliance of a mind, can as well be expressed in the garage, the smithy..at the sewin machine.. or the corn field.. as any other "field" of endeavour.
---------- Our values have been skewed, by the hubris (overweening self pride ) of the great dream of modernity.. and, science- fiction. Whatever we reach for ,the first part of that must be truth.,, else it will be of no use and more of a hindrance... than a help.
--------- I learned, a good many yrs ago.. how to cut and wrap meat, from a friend, who passed over the great divide .. a few months ago. Ive used that skill ever since.. Properly done, it will last at least three years in the freezer, and longer though with a bit of "freezer burn" that can be easily cut off.. and fed to the pets. Its better frozen in chunks and ground up just before use. Its a good idea to keep some canning jars on hand, along with a pressure canner, so that if the grid goes doon, and everything thaws oot, that meat can be canned up quick, and it wont be lost.
--------- Its a good idea, if a person can afford it.. to keep at least a couple of months worth of long storage food in the hoose at a given time. Same thing with other essentials, and a decent first aid and medicine kit. Thrift, second hand, flea markets and even pawnshops give more value, to money. Good tools, are always worth the price, and can be got second hand at half or better..
