More evidence to some of the erroneous ideas going around in right wing pagan circles these days. While it is true that Christians used euhemerism to undermine pagan gods, that only worked because of the twist in worldview. Under animistic worldview, heroes, kings, and tribal ancestors can achieve godhood for the same reason we honor our own immediate ancestors - they lived on after death.

Some pagan circles are viewing both euhemerism and animism as some kind of pagan “heresy.” Paganism is not dogmatic, it’s experiential. You can choose to or not to believe in the longevity of the soul and ancestor veneration. The issue is when people misrepresent historiographical beliefs, what we know people believed in the past.

European pagans were animists. Thus, there is no conflict regarding a human king reaching godhood status.

And now this historical truth is proven. They’ve found the tomb of Roman mythical god-king, Romulus.

This is the equivalent of the British unearthing King Arthur’s burial place. This is huge.

The more that time goes on, the more that my theories are proven right. I’m not sorry that I have to confront the nonsense along the way. It just so happens the nonsense is popular and cry babies can’t handle their false ideas being confronted 😆 sorry not sorry. I’ll keep being right and they can keep crying.
