This is an interesting article shared by Celtic culture and mythology channel.

It is a good example of how confusion is sown about english history and heritage.

it states that buddica was an 'east anglian warrior queen' from east Anglia in AD 61 (before east Anglia should have existed) 500 years before the apparent invasion of the engle (anglii), saxons, jutes and frisians that would later form the english who came from germania.

This area is also in Norfolk or 'north folk' though to be a collective identification of the teutonic tribes there, we also have anglesey (englesey) as the seat of the druids noted before as a celtic seat of power before the so called invasion.

I know currently there are competing theories on the engle arrival in england and articles like this by the bbc seem to add to the confusion with misleading terms, applying modern terms and identity were it doesn't belong.

which is it bbc, were we here or not? Did we come here peacefully and welcome our saxon brothers at a later date?...

Also to me this could also been seen as a walcyrie or an apporation of hretha (a month before hrethmonath) or frigg/ frija to teutonic folk if they knew own their history and had a connection to it.

Tolkien’s Elves, Tuatha De Danann, and other mystical, tall, fair-skinned god-like races mentioned by other cultures somewhat remind me of Valyrians from the book “A Song of Ice and Fire” series of fantasy novels by George R. R. Martin on which TV series ”Game of Thrones” was based. In the books, the Old Valyrian empire is described as an older more advanced civilization, much like our legends about Atlantis. The book say, for over 5,000 years, Valyria was the capital of the greatest civilization mankind had ever seen, the heart of an empire that ruled half the known world. Valyria was destroyed many centuries ago in a catastrophic event known as the Doom of Valyria, which shattered the Valyrian Peninsula, wiped out almost all the dragons in the world There were some Valyrian survivors. A few aristocratic families in the Free Cities still retain classic Valyrian features possess light blonde hair and distinctive eyes. People with such features are said to have "the blood of Old Valyria" in their veins
Native plants were commonly used to heal all manners of health problems. Our European ancestors brought this knowledge with them wherever they settled. Here is an article that shares just some common plants and their medicinal uses.https://www.urmc.rochester.edu/encyclopedia/content.aspx?contenttypeid=1&contentid=1169
Helmikuu
The Finnish name for February (’helmikuu’, pearl-month) comes from icy pearls that can be seen on the branches of trees after weather changes suddenly from thaw to frost. In South-Western Finland it was said that ”the forest has ice pearls”. In Eastern Finland the forest was said to have ”splashes”, and in further west ”hazel grouse eyes”.
February is the second of the mid-winter months, or the ’little oak’ (pikkutammi) after the ’big oak’ (meaning tammikuu, January). In Eastern Finland the month has also been called ’kaimalo’ or ’kaimal-month’. The name comes from the fact that the ’little oak’ is January’s little namesake, or ’kaima’, hence the diminutive ’kaimalo’. February was considered rather malevolent when compared to its older brother. February does not, however, manage to be as cold as January, although he certainly tries. ”When I freeze with my other eye, the other one pours water”, February laments. Nevertheless, weather is certainly cold in February. The coldest days of winter are usual.
