This year I've decided to read more books about product development and the tech industry in general, so that I learn other ways of work, the industry's current practices, and more importantly, compare my former experiences.

Starting with a book by Tony Hsieh, Delivering Happiness puts a big emphasis on company culture, customer service, but above all, Tony's pursuit of happiness.

Unfortunately, after publishing this article I realised that Tony Hsieh had passed away last December. His tragic death came as a big surprise to me, since Tony finishes the book with a few frameworks and tips for a happier life at work and at home.

Say what you think, but with positive intent. All these sentences start with a progressive premise but require something from you in return. You can't simply get freedom without responsibility.

No passado dia 1 publiquei mais um artigo no Opiniões, desta vez sobre o "bate-boca" entre o Facebook e a Apple em relação à privacidade dos seus utilizadores.

Curiosamente, um dos artigos da edição de 27 de Fevereiro do The economist, argumentava que estamos perante uma nova era de confrontos entre as gigantes tecnológicas, fruto da (necessidade de) diversificação da sua oferta.

Ainda é cedo para perceber quem perderá com estas competições, mas todos nós como utilizadores ganharemos de certeza.
