Reddit: Contemplating Flutter for mobile apps
Hi, I've come across this question multiple times whenever I'm looking into building mobile apps. I've looked into other hybrid technologies such as ionic, react native, native script and all the way to the nichier ones like quasar, framework 7 etc. I'm a web developer primarily focusing on JavaScript technologies, so I tend to lean more towards these kinds of frameworks to try my luck in mobile app development. However, overtime I don't feel that these are the way to go. Some of them were difficult even to install, while others are easy, but felt like I'm coding a web app rather than mobile - I don't know how they would fare in an actual mobile setting. Recently, after watching Google I/O 18, I absolutely love how their sample apps turns out after coding from flutter. Hence, why I'm stuck again, not knowing what to use...The app I'm intending to build would require the use of the phone's microphone/speaker and will be using some ML APIs (probably from Google as well). I wonder if I could just do it with Flutter rather than going through something like Cordova? Or i'm just over-thinking this and should just build out something quick and dirty?Side tangent: While I'm writing this post out, a thought came across my mind for what happens after the app is built. It would require my team to be able to learn dart and Flutter in order to help improve the app. At the same time, it would be easier to find app developers in Android/Swift, which in that case just makes my Flutter app useless if we're going to rebuild it in native.Yea, it's something way way further down the road but I can't help but look this far ahead when considering my options. I miss the old days where I first started web development without knowing anything :(

GGroup: [Breaking Change] didChangeLocale observer pass List instead of Locale.
Hello Flutter developers, Previously, Flutter only worked with a single default locale. However, devices support an ordered list of preferred locales. We have recently added full locale list passing mostly in a non-breaking way, but in packages/flutter/lib/src/widgets/binding.dart, packages/f
