I have an idea for a school app and I just want some advice on it. Thank you.
I have this ambitious app for school that will be used for news and a lot of things.The app will contain pretty much everything from news, weekly newsletter, announcements, sports things, events, etc.The most important part is the database, obviously. So I will be using firebase to store text, images, videos, pdfs, etc. I will use website --> database --> app kinda flow (idk what it's called) so teachers and faculty and maybe students can upload new announcements to the app. I might add like sports live streams by connecting to the youtube channel and checking to see if it is live.Is this doable for a high schooler? I barely have knowledge of flutter but I have a lot of free time and I intend to learn a LOT. How long would it take? Is firebase the best database to use or is mySQL better?It will be like Harvard Mobile, MIT Mobile, those university apps, but much cleaner and for our school only.

Flutter Rooting System
Hi I am new learner and I am working navigation part of flutter.I saw two diffrent ways skipping other page with paramaters.For example I have home page and number page If I send the number data to number page it prints to screen.I can implament this example like this :

Navigator.push(context, MaterialPageRoute(builder: (context) => NumberPage(32)), ); 

Or using

routes: { "/" : (context) => Homepage(), "/NumberPage" : (context) => NumberPage(), }, onGenerateRoute: (RouteSettings settings){ List<String> Itemlist = settings.name.split("/"); if(Itemlist[1] == 'NumberPage'){ return MaterialPageRoute(builder: (context) => NumberPage(int.parse(Itemlist[2]))); } return null; }, 

These are all the ways I know of to do this.Is there any performance difference ?What is the best use case sending data to another page while rooting ?Thanks
